Welcome to Trentfield Farm Camping and Caravanning open  1 March - 31 October

We are a small, professionally run friendly camping and caravan site servicing the needs of both national and international visitors. We are ideally situated for visiting the World Famous area of Sherwood Forest, The Cathedral City of Lincoln, Beautiful Clumber and Rufford Parks and the surrounding areas. As well as our licenced site we also have a separate facility for holding events from Dog Trials to large caravan rallies for all the major clubs and associations in the UK.

Situated in North Nottinghamshire, Trentfield Farm is set in-between Historic Lincoln, Newark, Worksop and Gainsborough, immediately on the side of the River Trent. We are just outside the idyllic hamlet of Church Laneham, an old estate village of the Bishop of York which is steeped in History.

Facilities

The site is level and free draining and we pride ourselves very much in keeping the site neat, clean and tidy.

16 Amp electric hook ups are on the site each with their own tap, so no need to trek miles for your water ! The site owns over 1/4 mile of Private river frontage with free course fishing for customers. Two excellent golf courses are only a short drive away.  

The farm in 1998, in conjunction with Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust constructed an artificial Otter holt and created an enclosed conservation area. Badgers, Partridges, Pheasants and Hare's are all a common sight and there are miles of quiet lanes, tracks and walks in the parish for you to enjoy the wildlife

There is plenty of room for children to play, without disturbing the tranquillity of our other customers.  We are not a large commercial site and our reputation is based on the service we give, and that's why people come back time and time again.

Sherwood Forest, Lincoln, Sundown Adventure land, and Doddington Hall, are just a few.

Directions  

From the A1 North or South.

At the A1 / A57 Roundabout at Markham Moor, pick up & follow the Brown Leisure signs for Sundown Adventureland down the A57 toward Lincoln, and continue to follow these signs. After leaving the A57 and travelling 1.5 miles, Turn Right at the first turning signposted Laneham, Right at the T junction and proceed all the way through the village towards "Laneham Ferry". Continue through Church Laneham, past the Ferry Boat Pub on the left, and the River on the Right, Up the narrow small rise (20 Mph Max please) and proceed 300 yards, past Meadow House (You need to be slowing right down now!) and we are on the right.

From the M1 Junction 30.

Pick up the A619 toward Worksop, through Whitwell (Mind the Speed Cameras !), and into Worksop until you arrive at the first roundabout. Turn Right and follow the A57 toward Lincoln. Continue up the A1 until Markham Moor then follow the directions as above.

Please drive slowly and carefully through our village.

Rally and Event Fee's and Information

Trentfield Farm has been a venue for Rally's and Events for over 40 years both for  UK based clubs and societies but from Europe as well. Events need to be booked well in advance to secure required dates. Events such as Dog Trials, Polo Match's Etc are priced on an individual basis. For caravan and camping clubs we can organize a number of group events at minimal costs from visits & hog roasts to car treasure hunts. All events and rallies will be supplied with a VAT invoice.

For over 40 Years Rallies, Meets and Sporting events have been hosted at Trentfield Farm. Over the last 3 years we have become one of the most popular venues for caravan and camping rally's in the UK. Hosting meets for ACCEO, The Caravan Club, The Camping and Caravan Club and independents such the CSMA and manufacturer owners clubs.

With Rally's we know how important it is to make sure that your group has the maximum of event support. Pricing for Rally's is fixed forward many years ahead to ensure clubs know costs well in advance. Our calendar for bookings generally runs 16 to 24 months in advance.

In addition the rally site is very easily accessible being only 15 minutes from the A1 Markham moor roundabout, making Trentfield an ideal base to host a weekend, 5 day or holiday rally.
