Lakeside Caravan Park is surrounded by the Brecon Beacons National Park and is adjacent to Llangorse Common which leads down to Llangorse Lake. Ideally situated for hill walking, climbing, rambling and many more activities. There is a Pony trekking centre about 300 yards from the lake.

The site is privately owned and managed. We cater for tents, touring caravans and static holiday caravans. It is open April/Easter to the end of October.

On site there are two modern toilet blocks with hot and cold water. There are also showers, a chemical toilet disposal point and a small laundry room.

A limited number of electric hook up points are available for touring caravans. It is not always necessary to book camping or touring caravan pitches in advance, but advisable during the main holiday period.

The Camp Shop

On site we also have a camp shop which sells basic groceries with daily supplies of bread and milk in the main season. It also sells gifts, fishing tackle, some boating and camping equipment, calor gas and camping gaz. The permits needed to use your own craft on the lake are sold 
at our camp shop

The Club House

The Clubhouse with its friendly and informal atmosphere is the ideal venue for a quiet drink or to enjoy the evening with a group of friends. If you are on site, whether in a tent, touring caravan or in one of our hire caravans you are automatically a club member. The Boathouse bar has an attractive outdoor swimming pool which is open in the summer.

The Lakeside Cafe

At the Lakeside cafe you can have breakfast, or a tasty snack, or just a cup of coffee. A limited take-away service is provided

The Lakeside Stage and Slipway

We have launching, mooring and storage facilities for boat owners whether your interests lie in water skiing, sailing or windsurfing.

We hire boats for fishing on the lake and  we also hire canoes, sailing dinghies and windsurfers

Holiday Hire Caravans

We have two types of holiday caravan for hire.

Type A  has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds and one with bunk beds.

Type B has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. 

Both Type A and Type B can sleep two extra people in the lounge area.
