Welcome to Watertop Farm - Family Activity Centre

Watertop Farm is set in beautiful surroundings and offers something for all the family. We welcome groups and school children.

Caravan/Camping

There are two sites for caravans. One grass pitches and the other hard stands. All the pitches have electric hook-up, spring water hook up, and waste water system. We have a small campsite beside the hard stands.

The Tea House is ideally situated beside the lake  The restaurant seats approx 40 and serves the finest homemade fare.

From roast beef dinners to fabulous apple pie and home made cakes and bread. A must when visiting the farm

Activities

Pony Trekking:- Suitable for all ages above 8 years old. Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult. Guided treks around the farm are mostly on gravel tracks.  Each trek lasts approx half an hour and gives panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Pony rides:- Suitable for all ages.

Boating:- Rowing boats around a small lake area. Each boat carries 4/5 people. Please Note:- Lifejackets are supplied for all children.

Assault course:- A professionally created low-ropes assault course is suitable for all the family. There are eight different obstacles to really test your stamina!

Walking:- Our main walk is the Waterfall walk. A spectacular walk with incredible views of the valley and the waterfall.

Sheep shearing demo:- (When available) A unique opportunity to watch a sheep being shorn and learn about the wool process and sheep farming.

Paddiwagon:- Spectacular ride aboard an ex army 4x4 truck. Fantastic views and an incredible ride around part of the farm through the cattle and sheep.

Pedal Go-Karts:- 2 tracks - one for under 8's and one for over 8's and adults.

Other attractions:- Play areas, farm museum and an array of small animals complete the range of activities on offer.

All dogs must be kept on a lead.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Maximum speed through the Yard 5 mph.

Group Visits

We welcome School Groups, Youth Groups, Church Outings, etc.
Why not arrange a Birthday Party with a difference at Watertop.
We can also organise Group Camping combining a range of activities including:- Abseiling, Canoeing, etc. These activities are available through     www.ardclinis.co.uk.

School Visits

We cater exclusively for School Visits during May and June. This is a Guided Visit, Farmyard Walk and a Paddiwagon Tour.
With 600 acres taking in a range of habitat we encourage secondary schools to use Watertop as a teaching resource.

Ardclinis Outdoor Adventure - www.ardclinis.com - Uses the farm for various activities such as abseiling, archery, raft building etc.
