We are a friendly family run caravan park situated in the heart of Slaley Forest. We are proud of the depth of wildlife and the variety of scenic walks in the immediate surrounding countryside. The beautiful views will also enthral you. If you are looking for a tranquil countryside setting, your holiday starts here.

Reception

Springhouse Caravan Park offers a reception where there is a wide range of tourist information material available and also a limited selection of confectionary including ice cream.

Facilities

We have overnight pitches throughout the season for touring caravans, motor homes and tents. We regularly have special offers on for longer stays. Our season extends from early March till the end of October.

Facilities include laundry room, payphone, shower block, children's play area, and electric hook up points. Dogs are allowed on a lead, and we do have a dog exercise area.

We do not allow the static caravans to be sublet.

Around the area

We are approximately 3 miles from Slaley Hall, which provides undoubtedly one of the most scenic and challenging golf venues in the country. Two championship courses are on offer. Slaley Hall has for several years hosted an annual event on the European tour.

Horse riding is available in Slaley Village approximately 2 Miles away and fishing is available not far away. We are quite close to the Derwent Reservoir, popular for sailing and wind surfing.

The historic town of Hexham with its Abbey and weekly market and picturesque Corbridge Village are only 10 minutes drive away.

We are also conveniently placed for the world famous Hadrian's Wall a landmark that attracts a large number of our visitors. There are over 40 walks exploring the countryside and towns of Hadrian's Wall.

Directions to Springhouse

From SOUTH . A1 Motorway, 8 miles after Scotch Corner. Turn onto the A68 and keep on following the signs for Corbridge /Derwent Reservoir. Turn off the A68 at Kiln Pit Hill, then follow the caravan symbols for six miles.
