The close proximity ( 5 miles ) to Bournemouth with its beaches, shops, daytime and night-time entertainment, and the sites excellent road links to the rest of Hampshire and Dorset make this ideal for that weekend break or longer holiday stay.
Peter & Anne Dunn have lived in the area for over 20 years. The purchase of Mount Pleasant is a new and exciting venture for them and realizes a long standing ambition. They look forward to welcoming you to their family run site and making new friends. Peter & Anne live on site in their purpose built bungalow. They feel that living on site is an important part of their service to you, the holiday maker.
We take security very seriously at Mount Pleasant and there are card operated barriers to allow you in and out of the main holiday areas.
Reception
With its computerized booking system, allowing for a speedy check- in. The staff on hand to guide you to your pitch.
Pitches
The 180 touring and camping pitches are centrally located which again helps to provide a safe environment.

Touring pitches are easily accessible for any size caravan or motor home and most have electric and easy access to water. The sandy soil means that even in the wettest of weather, the pitches soon dry out. All touring pitches are close to shower & toilet blocks and are well illuminated at night without being obtrusive.
Well mannered dogs are welcomed at Mount Pleasant and the close proximity to the Avon Forest allows you plenty of space to exercise them. There is plenty of space for awnings, tents , sun lounges and cars.
Amenity Blocks
The
main amenity block is centrally located and contains all you need to make your
stay at Mount Pleasant effortless and enjoyable.
There are modern , clean and well serviced toilets and showers with unlimited free hot water. Private washing cubicles are also available in the ladies block. There is a bathroom available, which also provides disabled toilet and washing facilities. The launderette contains washing, drying and ironing facilities and hand washing sinks.
The second shower block offers extra facilities at those busy times so the need to queue is usually eliminated, even at the height of the season. This block is again modern and well serviced. Behind the main shower block are the dishwashing sinks which are again serviced with free hot water.
Shop
The shop offers most groceries during the season , along with gas and other camping essentials. There is also a catering facility in the height of the season to help make your stay as relaxing as possible. If required there is also a pay phone nearby.

Adventure Park
The Adventure Park allows all children the opportunity to play on a good range of well constructed and safe play areas. It is available to all children as long as they are supervised if under 11 years of age. There are activities for the young who can burn off any excess energy here !

About the area
Bournemouth is one of the most beautiful sea-side towns in Great Britain and has something to please everyone.
The lower and upper gardens are beautifully stocked all year round.
Christchurch is well worth a visit for its tranquil old world streets and wonderful selection of shops and boutiques. It provides a good contrast to Bournemouth and Poole's hustle and bustle and has some lovely tea and coffee houses as well as rural and local interest museums.
