

Cwm Cadnant Valley Caravan and Camping Park offers you a base to discover some of Wales most spectacular and historical landmarks.

The Caernarfon area offers beautiful scenery, an abundance of history and culture, unspoilt beaches, sporting facilities, walking, mountains, fishing, pony trekking - in fact the perfect base for touring in all directions. Ideally situated between Anglesey (from where you can take a day trip to Ireland) and the majesty of Snowdonia.
North Wales is well worth visiting, with something for everyone, and with a very attractive camping and caravan park to use as your base.
Cwm Cadnant Valley is a family park set in the small valley of the River Cadnant, a gentle running stream that once fed the moat of the nearby magnificent Caernarfon Castle. The location provides a quiet haven within a ten-minute walk of Caernarfon town centre.
The park is laid out amongst mature trees and extends to approximately 4.5 acres.
The reception area:- contains a full range of tourist information about the
local area. Calor Gas and Camping Gaz can be purchased here and we also offer an
ice-pack freezing service. The payphone is situated in the reception.
Facilities
There are 35 pitches for tourers, set out on terracing including 5 hard-standings, the majority of pitches with electrical hook-ups.
The 25 tent pitches are set out on both sides of the stream. Backpackers and cyclists are accommodated on their own area of 9 pitches at the top of the site.

The site is well equipped with a children's play area, launderette, sheltered dishwashing facilities and barbecue area. The toilets contain hair dryers, shaver points and plenty of hot water.
We recognise that owing to the nature of the site and the existing facilities
it is possible that certain people may be disadvantaged for access. The
management and staff will work with individuals and their helpers as appropriate
to take all practicable actions to reduce this inconvenience. If you feel that

For the benefit of all the visitors, we close the security barrier between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., arrangements can be made for early departures for day trips to Ireland etc.
For your security, the owners are resident on site and available at all times.
Around the area
A small supermarket and off-licence is situated 200 metres from the site and is open early to late every day. Two major supermarkets are situated within ten minutes of the site as well as the usual facilities of a town i.e. restaurants, pubs, takeaways etc.
The Arfon Leisure centre is situated approximately 1km along the Bethel Road. The facilities available there include a sports hall, swimming pools, fitness room, squash, and tennis both indoor and outdoor. Equipment is available for hire. They also sell hot and cold refreshments.

The Castle. Regarded as one of the finest medieval fortresses in Europe: high walls and towers; interesting displays; Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum.
Segontium Roman Fort and Museum.
Quayside Victoria docks cruises, sea fishing, sailing.
Air Museum with pleasure flights to view castles, coastline and Snowdonia.
Golf visitors are welcome at Caernarfon Golf club which is in a superb location.
RAF Llandwrog.
Yr Hwylfan - fun for the inner child.
Activities
Mountain bike hire. Pony trekking and horse riding. Fresh water fishing. Plas Menai - the Welsh National Watersports Centre.

Owing to the outdoor nature of a camping experience, there may be times when we have to cancel reservations due to inclement weather conditions or similar. We will make efforts to contact you by any given means if this is the case. In these circumstances any deposit paid can be transferred to another date (within one calendar year), or refunded by the same means used to pay it.
