03 Auvergne. Charroux  “Le Relais de l’orient”  is a house with character, built in 1767. It boasts a dovecote, a court and a small farmyard. It is situated at the eastside (l’ orient) of the village, close to the medieval centre of Charroux and the ‘belvédère’ with a magnificent view of the valley. We offer B&B and home cooked dinner, shared with the other guests at the ‘table d’hôtes’. Swimming Pool.  Various places of interest to visit in the area.

Les Frenes is 3.5 miles from Besse, 4.5 miles from the cross-country skiing centre at Berthaire, and 6 miles from Super Besse. 2 rooms, one double and 1 twin, both with colour television, and tea/coffee making facilities. (Other reservations available on request).  Located at 700m of altitude in a bosky bower the Castle of Courbelimagne dominates the Valley of Carladez,  offering an unspoilt view of the South of the Cantal and North of Aveyron.  Beautiful En-suite bedrooms,   and 1 Suite with 2 bedrooms. 15 Auvergne Pionsat. Le-Passe-Temps. Situated in the hills of Bellirat in tranquil surroundings. The nearest village is Pionsat (4km) away where you will find the shops etc. There are two bathrooms and four charming bedrooms which all open to a large mezzanine on the first floor of our house. All  our bedrooms are comfortably furnished and decorated to a good standard. Out of respect for the environment we don’t allow smoking indoors, pets are not allowed and our accomodation is less suited for small children. Safe parking for motor cycles. Picnics prepared on request. Evening meals also by request. Many places of interest to visit and activities around the area.

03Auvergne. Espinasse Vozelle Jardins-des-Thevenets 17c and 19c century homestead . Espinasse Vozelle is situated 10mm from Vicy, between the Bourbannais and Auvergne, approximately 3 hours from Paris, Lyon, and Montpellier. One of the outbuildings which housed the horse drawn carriages in the 19th century is today a home to a beautiful pool. Jardins-des-Thevenets is beautifully set in 9 ha of woods with aromatic and medicinal plant fields. All our rooms are comfortably furnished, well equipped and decorated to a high standard.  No smoking in all bedrooms.  Three times per week or by reservation the table d'hôtes offers residents dishes combining South-African influences with French cuisine.
