LE BOURG - Chris and Carolyn run their comfortable and friendly Chambre D'Hôte in the picturesque village of Chateauneuf  Southern Burgundy which is well known for it's wealth of typical characteristically French antique shops specialising in furniture. We have been rated by Gite De France with 3 epis

The village of Chateauneuf in Southern Burgundy is surrounded by picturesque countryside. Easy to find and located in the peaceful historical village, only a short drive away from the local shops and markets.   

Bed and Breakfast

Our bedrooms:-  have been tastefully decorated and furnished and all have en-suite facilities. Dietary requirements can be catered for on request.

Our downstairs bedroom:- is suitable for the less mobile of our clients who would prefer to avoid the stairs.

Packed lunches are available on request.

Burgundy is a place known throughout the world for the wine.

It also holds many pleasures for the art and nature lovers.

For the more energetic there are marvellous cycling and hiking routes as long or short as you choose.. Riverboat enthusiasts will find great pleasure here.

Visitors have a choice of activities as varied as the landscapes, rivers, lakes and canals.

There is a constant stream of events and festivals throughout the year.

Sailing, Rafting,  Fishing,  Canoeing,  Horse riding,  Rock Climbing We have 2 ski resorts just over a hours drive away and much more.

Airport:  The nearest airport is Lyon (B.A abd Easyjet ) one&half hours drive.  Ryan Air also fly from St Etienne
