The "Château de Pierrefitte" offers a warm welcome and provides Guest Cottages, Guest Rooms and Guest table
We welcome guests from all over the world. You will experience the kindness from the people who live here from day to day in total harmony with nature and the farm animals.
You will have the opportunity to see the seasons changing watch starry skies, take walks around the lakes and ponds, along rivers and through the woods.
The "Château de Pierrefitte" :

For all your parties:- we offer you wonderful rooms in a castle dating from the 19th century. The architecture and furniture will certainly astound you.
The largest guest room:- of the castle allows 60 people and a smaller room provides for 40 persons. While the other three rooms are located in one different place, it is also possible to stay in a tent (authorization for 250 guests
In the castle we have 5 rooms - three rooms of rehearsal, exhibitions and seminars which could welcome 200 persons is available in the" dependance of the château" for all activities and demonstrations.
Guest rooms
Our guest rooms are located on the first floor of the "Château de Pierrefitte". The atmosphere, quietness and the perfume of waxed wooden floor will charm you.
We have in the dependance of the château a "gîte d'étape" with 4 bedrooms ( 2 of 2 persons and 2 of 4 persons), each with own bathroom( shower, washing tables and toilet) and a dortoir with 28 beds, divided in small rooms for 4 persons, with toilets for women, separated from men.
All rooms have:- showers, washing tables and toilets.
Breakfast:- A good breakfast will be provided with an assortment of fresh home-made bread or "croissants" with home-made jam.
Our rooms are labelled by B&B France and prices start from 58 € per day

Our cottages are located in the area of The Morvan Natural Park which is a famous place for nature lovers worldwide. Their main characteristics are warmth and authenticity.
The location and atmosphere of the houses are suitable both for summer and wintertime holidays.
One cottage sleeps 7 people and has a great living room, three bedrooms and an open fire-place on the ground floor that heats the house.
The second cottage allows 9 people and comprises two floors fully equipped with bathroom on the ground floor.

In Pierrefitte we make for you with care and passion delicacies and savouries always bearing in mind the respect of animals and nature.
The environment is essential for the comfort of the animals and it is essential for us to breed them in a traditional way with the qualities of plants and nature only. This is the secret of the flavour that you will find in all our pâtés, cooked meals and all other home-made preparation
How to find us
We are in Burgundy, France, in a splendid area well-known for its royal families. The estate of Pierrefitte, owned by Marina and Olivier Neerman is located in the Department of the Nièvre (58) and is close to the Saône et Loire (71) in the "Parc Naturel du Morvan".
We are located at a distance of 8km from the N81 that goes from Autun (71) to Luzy (58). While following the D192 for 8km, you can stop and visit the village of Poil with its remarkable little church and his wood tile roof. You will then find the signs that will guide you safely to the estate of "Pierrefitt
