The renovation of this 17c and 19c century homestead allowed for the installation of five bedrooms each with it's own bathroom shower or bath.

One of the outbuildings which housed the horse drawn carriages in the 19th century is today a home to a beautiful pool.

Jardins-des-Thevenets is beautifully set in 9 ha of woods with aromatic and medicinal plant fields. This is the ideal place to spend a quiet and relaxed moment.

The Rooms

All our rooms are comfortably furnished, well equipped and decorated to a high standard.

African

Beautifully decorated room with double bed, couch, bath and wc.

Rouge

This room is decorated in stunning shades of red and has double bed, shower with wc.

Blanche

Decorated in shades of cream this bright and airy room has double bed, bath and wc.

Sous les toits

Tastefully decorated room with double bed, shower and wc.

Please Note:- No smoking in all bedrooms. 

Table d'hotes

Three times per week or by reservation the table d'hôtes offers residents dishes combining South-African influences with French cuisine. We use local products with organic vegetables grown on the farm to give a Bourbannaise touch.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the table d'hôtes is proposed in the dining room, on the terrace or at the edge of the swimming pool according to the number of guests and weather conditions. The house wine made from our plants is often the curiosity of the aperitif. To start with, a surprise soup will put water to your mouth before the starter, the main meal, the cheese and dessert, all accompanied by half-bottle of wine per person. In the living room, the coffee or herb tea will enable you to end the dinner agreeably.

Swimming Pool:-  is for the use of our guests.

The 4 hectares:- surrounding the homestead produce organically grown aromatic and medicinal plants. Amongst other artichokes, cornflowers, bourache, blackcurrant, mauve, peppermint and sage. Discover these plants amidst the gardens leading you to the shadow of the exceptional Sophora Japonicas,

Aromatic & Medical Plants

A part of our plant production is developed and proposed for sale in the form of jams, syrups and herbal teas available on the property.

The prorietors:-  Lynn, South-African by birth, met Oliver, a French Graphic artist in Paris where she worked on franco-south-african relations in the artistic field, The year 2000 brought them to the Auvergne where Lynn obtained her organic agricultural diploma whilst Oliver worked on the restoration of the property. They will be happy to share with you their love of nature and the arts.

Animals:- Unfortunately, our animals insisted on the exclusiveness of the property. We regret not being able to receive yours.

 Situation

Espinasse Vozelle is situated 10mm from Vicy, between the Bourbannais and Auvergne, approximately 3 hours from Paris, Lyon, and Montpellier.

Tariff's

Breakfast for 2 included.  Single reduction 7 Euros 

Arrive after 4pm please and depart by 11am.
