The border between Lorraine and Franche Comte are the Semouse and the little stream that runs alongside the property. Ideally suited for those who love the countryside for cycling, walking, bird watching, fishing and exploring the many historic places of interest over the Vosges mountains in Alsace, and in the departments of the Vosges and Haute Saône. The house of 'Au Martin Pêcheur' is about 200 years old and the Chambre d'Hote or bed and breakfast facility has 5 attractive bedrooms which have been recently upgraded. There is a shared courtyard with a BBQ. The Gite sleeps 8 and was originally built as the village school of La Chaudeau in the 19th Century. The Gite is on the 1st & 2nd Floors & in the front is the walled 'Court' . |
