Owned  by husband and wife team, Gary and Jean Johnston, Petit- Illyria is a lovingly restored town house, in the quiet market town of Saint-James.

On the Normandy - Brittany border, this elegant town house and beautiful landscaped walled garden was once the residence of the the town's doctor. It has now been restored and refurbished  into a Chambres d'Hôtes, offering peaceful, leisurely accommodation.

Today Saint-James is a thriving market town with many local amenities. Just twenty minutes from Mont Saint-Michel the second largest tourist attraction in France, and five minutes from the A84 autoroute. Close to Saint-Malo and the beautiful Normandy coastline, with many local medieval towns and monuments to explore. Within easy access to all major ferry ports, and airports.

 The Rooms

There are five individually designed bedrooms for the sole purpose of the comfort and hospitality of our guests, providing peace and relaxation for the traveller.

We offer Single, Double and Double/Twin en-suite rooms, each with it's own "personal touch". All rooms are decorated to a high standard.

Meals

Gary and Jean, your hosts, are both fully trained chefs with many years experience within Hotels and Restaurants.

We cook with flare and imagination with attention to detail and flavour skilfully presented to a very high standard using fresh local ingredients.

We welcome the opportunity to bring our experiences to your dinner table. 

Our Five course gourmet dinner to 25 euros Per Person.

Tariffs

Room rates are inclusive of continental breakfast.

Additional bed in room 18 euros per night.

Full English breakfast is also available at a small supplement.

We can now offer accommodation for 16 persons.

Special Occasions: Easter, Christmas/New Year packages available as well as Special events calendar are on request for visitors of all nations!
