The Rousselet family welcomes you to its beautiful 18th Century guest house, set in the heart of vineyards and olive groves, between Montélimar and Grignan. Here, we invite you to share our taste for fine Mediterranean cuisine and enjoy the rich local produce

   

We offer a choice of three distinctive guest rooms, each charmingly appointed and each with it’s own unique style.

Also available is a large, two-room gîte with kitchen, ideal for family breaks. In this apartment, you will be autonomous but you can also enjoy the common area.
A private courtyard gives access to the three rooms and the gîte. In order to make your stay more pleasant, a common area has been created for you.

Breakfast can be taken in the garden or the spacious salon, which doubles as a games room, video library and general relaxation area.

A laundry with sink and washing machine, a kitchen fully-equipped are at your disposal. Dishes and cutlery are supplied.

Rates:
Room:-                   100 € for 2 persons per night, including breakfast.
Apartment:-           1000 € per week. 

You can easily enjoy a one week stay at Le Mas du Chatelas without sinking in boredom!

A 100m2 Swimming Pool is open to guests all year round which, completes this luxury idyll. Parasols and deckchairs will help you to rest a little in the shade of the trees.

Exploring the Region,

You will discover picturesque and historic villages like Marsanne, Grignan, Mirmande, Suze-la-Rousse, Saou and Sauzet. During the summer months, local festivals provide the perfect opportunity to experience the heart and soul of our way of living, past and present, and sample magnificent local cuisine.
You will visit the region through nature trails beholding its various and stunning views. For sporty people, mountain-biking or paragliding offer a very original way to visit the region.
The Drôme Provençale will astonish you.

Provencal Cuisine:
Shopping in surroundings’ markets and purchases.
Visit of the typical villages.
Provencal cooking lesson and tutorials. 

Olive:
Visit of an olive-plantation and a mill.
Tasting and purchases.
From olive to olive oil.
Cooking lesson with olive oil.
Olive oil meal.

Truffle:
Visit of a truffle-bed.
Walks in local markets and eventually purchases.

The Mas du Chatelas is a perfect place to organise your seminar or professional meetings, to entertain your clients for a few days. In association with other guest houses in the neighbourhood, you can invite up to 25 persons. A spacious room will be at your disposal and during the break you can relax in the swimming pool while the householder will prepare your meals.
