Based in France between Chatel and Morzine/Avoriaz, at the top of the Col du
Corbier, we invite you to come and stay at La Reblais, our renovated
Chalet/Farmhouse which has arguably one of the best views in the area. From here
we offer fully catered accommodation, bed & breakfast, guiding, flexible holiday
dates, Geneva airport transfers (only 75 minutes) and nannying
Summer in the Alps is fantastic. Warm weather with as much or as little to do as you want. La Reblais is south facing, so you have the pleasure of the sun from 8am to 8pm. What could be more pleasant than eating breakfast, lunch and supper outside? We have approximately 2 acres of land, part of which is a fenced garden that backs onto pine forests.
Due to our unique location it is possible to go on a ski safari, skiing from a different resort every day. Justin, who leads most of the guiding has over 10 years experience of the Portes du Soleil. For beginners the small Ski Station of Drouzin Le Mont is only 500 metres away! La Reblais is also a great base for Ski Touring and Cross Country.

Accommodation
Situated on the Col du Corbier, La Reblais has a unique setting that is overlooked by no one. The south facing views are guaranteed to take your breath away.
Recently Renovated the older part of the house dates back to the 1800's.
The Chalet sleeps 8 comfortably in four double/twin rooms. Three of which have
balconies and all are south facing.
There are two guest bathrooms, one with a bath/shower and one with shower. With additional beds for children it sleeps up to 12.
A stone fireplace dominates the large sitting/dining room. All the rooms have beamed ceilings and wood panelled walls.
Cuisine
We place great emphasis on the quality of our food and each night except one, our chef creates a superb 4 course meal which includes a cheese course and choice of wines, followed by coffee and chocolates.
At our local bar and restaurant, five minutes walk up the road, the friendly landlord will try to ply you with his poire schnapps! We also have a fully stocked bar and insist you try Justins homemade prune 'eau-de-vie'!
We have Satellite TV, videos, games, books and for the 'big kids' the chalet has a 50m² indoor course for radio controlled Rally Cars. There is a boot and clothes drying room and washing facilities. We have ample off road parking.
La Reblais is the perfect spot if you want a change of pace from being in the middle of a resort, but with easy access to the different resorts of the Portes du Soleil.
About the area
It is a beautiful area for walking, with June, July and August being the best months for the Alpine flowers. We are surrounded by shady woodlands, high mountain lakes and streams with either gentle or steeper walks. Mountain biking is one of the main activities here in the summer and we have a full program of guided rides. The following are also very popular,:- Mountain Biking Paragliding Golf Tennis Raftin and Swimming.
The largest International ski area in the world is made up of 12 resorts, which includes Morzine, Chatel and Avoriaz, and has 650km of marked pistes. The choice is enormous, with gentle, wide open runs for beginners, sweeping tree lined pistes for intermediates and for the more experienced, the challenge of the infamous 'Swiss Wall' is always a test of both technique and nerve. For those interested in off piste, the possibilities are endless.
GUIDING: For many guests, the guiding is one of the most enjoyable parts of their holiday. Justin, who leads most of the guiding, can take you to a different Portes du Soleil resort every day. Whether you want to attempt the Portes du Soleil circuit, skiing over the border into Switzerland, passing through seven resorts or go to a remote mountain restaurant, accessible only by skidoo.
We offer guiding for five days with each day tailored to the ability of the group. Videoing your skiing is a superb way of highlighting your strengths and weaknesses. Justin, who is a BASI Instructor, will be happy to capture you on the slopes and give you hints or tips on your skiing. We provide a door to piste service, ensuring the carrying of your skis or snowboards is kept to a minimum!
If you require instruction, we can arrange lessons for you at one of the excellent English speaking ski schools.
The Portes du Soleil offers some fantastic skiing for all standards and we will ensure you make the most of this vast ski area. A Portes du Soleil lift pass covers all 12 resorts and costs approximately 164€ for 6 days and 110€ for a child (5-16 years).
