Set  In the heart of Vallespir, in the Pyrenées Mountain. The  Mediterranean Sea is about 50 km away, Spain - at 25 km. 

A number of  famous painters like Picasso, Matisse, Chagal  got fascinated  and inspired by the beauty of this region. 

The Pyrénées  Orientales offer numerous possibilities to suit everybody's idea  or  leisure or pleasure. Arles sur Tech is about  five kilometers away. 

The Rooms

Family Room

Consists of one room (Blue Room) with one double bed and one single bed, and another room (Rose Room) with two single beds which share a bathroom.

Collioure Room

Accommodates up to 4 people  with own private bathroom.

Bulgarian Room

This room sleeps up to 4 people  and has its own private bathroom.

Japanese Room

Sleeps 2 people  and has its own private bathroom.

Breakfast

The breakfast is almost entirely made up of home made:-  cakes , crêpes, yogurts, breads and  jams.

Table d'Hôtes

You can choose  to try our Table d'Hôtes and taste regional specialties as well as:-  Bulgarian  Japanese  Mexican,  and Indian..  together with  local wine and cheese.

The town  is  famous for its Mediaeval  Festival  and the Benedictine Abbey that  dates  back in the 9 c.AD.  In the  shade of the oldest gothic cloister  rests  the Sacred Tomb, which remains  an  eternal enigma for the scientists,  who cannot explain the origin of  the  clear water that appears  periodically  inside.

Places to visit

Collioure:-    The  Fauvist trail n May  1905  Matisse and Derain  discovered  Collioure, and  this event  marked  the birth of Fauvism.  Art is  more  than ever present  in  Collioure nowadays.  Come and  feel  why people from  all over  Europe and even farther are  attracted  to this  particular spot.

Salvador  Dali's Muséum in Figueras:-   A must  you  shouldn't miss.

Céret: -  about 16 km away Here are  the  houses of Picasso,  Matisse, Chagal ... Today you find  the  Museum of Modern Art and a charming little  town with a lively  Saturday market.

The  Tautavel Museum: - the European capital of  prehistory guides you in a quest towards the  origin of mankind.
 

Activities

Sunbathe, swim in the river, take a walk, run, or cycle.  During the rare days when it rains you can relax  in the living room where you will  find the  Multilanguage library, parlour games, and satellite television

You can go hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking! 2 Thermal Spas ess than 10km away: Amélie les Bains and Prats de Mollo Two Golf courses: FALGOS (18 holes)  Amélie (8 holes)  and a Casino in Amélie
