Le Corps de Garde or The Coast Guard's House - A charming Maison d'Hôtes is Open to guests all the year round. Port side, the rooms offer an animated view of fishing boats and pleasure yachts.

Ocean side, the sea creates an ever-changing spectacle.

Chambre Océane
The sea view stretches as far as the eye can see, offering its occupants total escapism. King size or twin beds on request.

Grand Voile
Stunning ocean view for this magnificent bedroom entirely draped in red. King size or twin beds on request.
Living area with sofa bed, which opens up into either a queen size or twin beds. Bathroom, separate toilet.

Chambre Trousse Chemise :

The 3 windows in this luxurious suite give you a great view of sea and Town ramparts. Queen-size bed, living area with Sofa bed (Queen size or Twin beds), The bathroom has a bath and shower also a separate WC.
 

Chambre Le phare
With an ocean view, it is the smallest of the rooms, but amply compensates by its cosy atmosphere. Queen size bed. Bathroom, separate toilet.

All rooms have a view onto either the port or the ocean ; of a luxurious standard, each one is equipped with telephone and television.

How to find us

By road: the Ile de Ré is 3km off the French Atlantic coast close to the port town of La Rochelle. The island is reached by a toll bridge; the crossing price varies between 9 and 16.5€ according to the season.

By rail: regular trains from Nantes, Bordeaux, and Paris.


By air: regular flights from London (Stanstead)...
