Welcome to the Bellerive Hotel, Restaurant & Bar with outside Terrace & inside separate children's play area.
This friendly and welcoming hotel for all the family is set in a fantastic location in the very heart of French Limousin, approx only 40min's away from Limoges airport and 5min's away from lake Vassiviere in the picturesque town of Peyrat Le Chateau.
The weather in this part of France can be very varied from being in the 30C+ region in summer to -5C in winter so be prepared for the time of year you will be staying. The region around here being very natural and green means that we do get our share of rain.
Peyrat is well equipped for the visitor with
all the usual shops and bars, situated in the middle of the larger towns of
Eymoutiers & Bourganeuf. Being in this central location and having a good
relation with the local immobilier's makes us the ideal place to base yourself
while searching for your own property in France!
Where we are situated makes this an ideal place to base your holidays from. Being situated directly across from Peyrat lake and having the director of fishing as a very good friend and always at hand, makes this an especially good place for this activity. With Limoges being only 40min's away we have main train/road links to Paris for all your shopping needs or Clermont Ferrand for a spot of skiing in the winter!
Accommodation
We provide a mixture of accommodation from single rooms to double rooms, twin or family room.
All rooms en-suite with there own private sun terraces.
Pets are allowed at the hotel but they must be house trained and any cleaning damage must be paid for.
The Fishing Lake
The fishing lake is directly opposite the hotel and a few of the fish have been caught there.
This is the local lake:- across the road (which can be seen from your hotel window) and is regularly re-stocked with Carp, Pike, Trout. Along with our local lake there is the main lake of Vassiviere (Approx 6k away) which can be fished in the whole year round. All permits can be supplied on request our friend being the president of fishing for the area. We can also supply you with all the equipment from rod's, poles, line, detectors etc as long as it is booked in advance. If you are looking to catch big carp then we can put you in touch with the the expert who can supply local information about were to catch the big ones!
Southampton to Limoges flights link:- The Ryan Air flights from London Stanstead to Limoges are a perfect way of visiting us for a quick break or a long holiday. If booked in advance you will find the flights to be extremely cheap and only approx 1hr in duration. Limoges airport is a small but very friendly airport with all the usual car renting facilities etc. If needed we can meet you there and/or arrange the car for you, or just guide you back to the hotel to cut down on the hassle!
