Welcome to Chateau Les Peaux surrounded by Vineyards, Sunflowers and beautiful countryside and situated in the Anjou region, within a few steps of the Deux Sevres.
Les Peaux first dates back to 1122 in the monastery records of Cholet, with historic links to the 7th crusade and Louis IXth. Set within four hectares with a popular edge drive and stone pigeonnier.
We are ideally situated close to the International Go-Karting Circuit, Zoo and Rose gardens at Doue La Fontaine, Historical Montreuil Bellay. 30 minutes from Saumur and the chateaux of the Loire, 1 hour from Futurescope and the Pescalis fishing lakes.
There are also many golf courses within the area..
Accommodation
Original features include two stone spiral staircases, with buried treasure
tales. Original terracotta floor tiles, feature low beams and magnificent
ceiling detail at top of first spiral stairs, tuffeau stone fireplaces.
The Chateau Chapel is at the
top of the stairs with the remains of the bell tower above.
Iolo Morgannwg Suite - Suitable for 2 - 3 persons.
This suite consists of:- Double bedstead, two bedside tables, single robe, chest of drawers, one single bedsteads and night stand, all in the new Monet reproduction furniture range. The bed linen consists of luxury blue toile duvet cover, pillow shams, quilted bedspreads, bolsters, frilled cushions and above bed feature.
This room can be used as a family room (only children over 8 due to spiral staircases and moat) The suite is situated up one flight of spiral stairs.
There are Tea and
Coffee facilities in each room.
The room has original features, with tuffeau fireplace and Original terracotta floor tiles.
The en-suite consists of a power multi jet shower with basin and toilet.

There is no en-suite with this room, use of private bathroom.
