The Stone House comprises 4 ensuite bedrooms, (sleeps eight-extra beds available), a garden with BBQ and secure parking. We are open all year round, rooms are from 55€ per night which includes accommodation for two people and French style breakfast. We regret No Pets.

Caux is a medieval village of 2000 inhabitants which has a bar/restaurant, Pharmacy, several shops plus a Friday morning market and is perfectly located for access to the Mountain and Mediterranean, both only twenty minutes away.

Whether you are on holiday, house-hunting, motor cycle touring, cycling, hiking or walking our aim is to offer you a comfortable place to stay whilst exploring this fabulous area.

Sight-seeing
The Languedoc is an unrivalled combination of rural countryside filled with vineyards close to the Mediterranean coastline, with an average of over 300 sunny days per year.

The Mediterranean
The beaches and the warm sea is just 25K (15 miles) drive away.

History
Medieval towns of Beziers, Carcassonne, Lodeve, Toulouse and the capital Montpellier are all within easy reach. Why not follow in the footsteps of the Romans and visit L'Oppidum d'Ensérune or the Roman Bridge at St Thibery. Or simply take a day cruise on the Canal du Midi, now classed by UNESCO as a world monument.

Pézenas
Only 10 minutes drive, this pretty town is a major antiques centre with plenty of opportunity for some serious 'retail therapy' - lovely shops, numerous eating places, a lively market every Saturday and an ATM cash machine! For culture vultures the Renaissance heart and associations with Moliére make it a must.

Parc Régional du Haut Languedoc
 The second largest in France is close by, ideal for hikers and nature lovers, with Lac Salagou for water sports and the River Herault for Canoeing.
