Clifford and Mary-Ellen Webb offer you a warm welcome to their home in Brittany, France. We have converted this village house into a very comfortable Bed & Breakfast.
Our bed and breakfast is situated within easy reach of the main ports, Roscoff and St Malo, and easily reached from the main airports of Dinard, Rennes and Brest, and located in the centre of a typical, pretty rural village which has a Cafe/bar, pub with games, bakery, mini-market, pharmacy, post-office, hairdresser, and two restaurants.
Glomel is the perfect spot for breaking your
journey to the south or on your way home. Why not stay a little longer and enjoy
this beautiful, unspoilt area. We are ideally situated for anyone house-hunting
in Brittany. We are close to the main towns of Rostrenen, Carhaix, Pontivy,
Guingamp and Callac so there are lots of things to see and do.
Bedrooms
All rooms are equipped with small refrigerators, tea/coffee trays, CD Radios, and heaters.
This double room is complete with en-suite shower room equipped with a king-sized bed, a shower, a hand basin, and a toilet. This room will take an extra full-sized single bed if required.

A twin room, very comfortable and tastefully decorated with en-suite shower room.

Dining Room
There is a dining room for your French buffet-style breakfast. A full English breakfast is also available.
Evening meals can also be provided. We serve set evening meals (or a BBQ) for €12.50 per person (including wine) for a minimum of 2 people.
Garden:- It is possible to offer Barbecues in our spacious garden, weather and client numbers permitting. You are also welcome to use our barbecue to cook your own food.
We have a laundry room with washer and dryer that you are welcome to use during your visit.
There is a games room where you will find Darts, Table Tennis, etc. Coming soon.............A Skittle Alley.
Parking and storage:- are available for canoes, bikes and boat trailers. Please phone or e-mail prior to your holiday.
Bikes:- We have 4 adult-sized bikes
available for free loan.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome but only at an extra charge of 3 euros per dog with a maximum of 2 dogs. A refundable deposit is required of 30 euros per room returned providing the dogs have not been allowed on furniture or beds or left on their own in rooms and have not caused any damage to the property.

Around the area
Lake Korong is just a short walk away from the house, the lake offers fishing, swimming and boating for non-motorised craft. There is a man-made beach and tennis court. Several woodland walks can be taken around the shore line. It is a very peaceful and relaxing setting and ideal for picnics.
Canoes are available for hire, including all the gear you need, for €10 per day. Fishing is also permitted.
There is a man made beach on the side of the lake, ideal for sunbathing or just relaxing in the tranquillity of the beautiful, peaceful surrounds of the lake
Cycling and Walking:- The Nantes-Brest Canal is very close and it's highest point runs through the village, indeed the lake at Glomel was built to service the canal where it splits into two. The Tow paths are ideal for walks and cycle rides.
There are many other cycle and walking trails, ranging from the gentle to the very challenging, criss-crossing the region

La Petite Maison - Self catering property
La Petite Maison is a completely self-contained flat which is available for rent on a self-catering basis. All of our other facilities are available for your use. Breakfast can also be provided at an extra charge.
Accommodation comprises of:- The sleeping area contains a full-sized double bed.
A well-equipped kitchenette and cooking supplies can easily be purchased locally.
The sitting area is perfect for relaxing over a glass of wine after a hard day of sightseeing.
The bathroom is equipped with a large, modern shower and all the usual "facilities
Tariff
