Le Grand Beauchene is a 200 year old longere farm house in an acre of garden which full of wild life,  with views across fields and woods.

It is on a quiet road close to the old town of Pouance with its impressive fort, lake for swimming, fishing and sailing, bars and restaurants. The town is part of 'Le Circuit des Lavoirs' a fascinating tour around sites, where women used to do their laundry.

Accommodation

Both rooms are on the ground floor and have exclusive entrances from the garden. They have original oak beams, are en suite and have drink making facilities.

 The Green Room

This bedroom has a delightful four poster bed. It also has bunk beds.

 The Tapestry Room

 Pleasant room with a four poster bed and a futon.

Prices

16 Euros per night per person including breakfast.
Reduced rates for families.

The Garden.

The garden has a swimming pool, barbeque, paddling pool, sand pit and picnic area with garden furniture.

Guests are welcome to visit our English bookshop, games area and tea room which is decorated with over 100 giraffe objects and authentic copies of historical costumes, artifacts and weapons.

Visitors can be photographed wearing the armour and on request we dress in the costumes to serve breakfast.

We can provide a travel cot and high chair and offer a baby sitting service.

RN 171 Pouance- Chateaubriant. 1st turn right 500m after D3 to Martigne Ferchaud.
Look for the B and B sign.
