La Longere is a charming old Breton Farmhouse  situated the heart of Brittany. We are a large private house and set in large private gardens. We offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation, and will make all welcome who come to stay with us. We are situated about 5 miles west of  Pontivy, roughly between Pontivy and Guemene sur Scorff.

The house is very comfortably furnished, it is located in a tiny hamlet so La Longere is perfect for those looking for relaxation and escape from stressful life.

 catered breaks with candle-lit dinners, very enjoyable evening meals if required and long lets can be negotiated for those wishing to purchase property in France.

La Longere can sleep up to 13 people and is also available as a self-catering gite. There is a BBQ available for use.

Depending upon how many people are eating, we have a large dining table in the salon or a small dining table in the kitchen.

Activities

Within easy reach are lakes, where you can take a boat ride Also there is fishing, water sports, and a Golf Course.

About 10mins. drive away in Pontivy  you can visit the chateau, shop, walk by the river and eat in the many restaurants. Visit some of the pretty villages in the area, and just sit and enjoy the art of people watching.

Josselin -  with Chateau and Doll Museum.
Auray     -   with large market and an old port.
Carnac and Lorient Pontivy -  with Chateau and market.
Quimpere -  famous for its pottery.
Lac de Guerledan -  with water sports, boat rides walking etc.
 
Also Vannes, LOrient, and the beaches at Quiberon,

Tariff

Bed and Breakfast £33 or 53 Euros per double room per night.

Self-catering gite from £600, or 960euros per week. This sleeps up to 13 people.
