Jean and David welcome you to share their warm, friendly home in the heart of Leicestershire's Wreake Valley. Three delightful centrally-heated rooms are available.
Tole Cottage has been awarded an ETC four diamond rating and is situated in the quiet village of Kirby Bellars in the picturesque Wreake Valley. This is a traditional cottage with modern comforts and inspirational decor. The delightful, yet extremely comfortable, accommodation is only 3 miles from the market town of Melton Mowbray and within easy reach of quaint village pubs serving good food and ales. A varied breakfast menu is offered, using local and home cooked produce. The choice of breakfast is yours!
Accommodation
All bedrooms:- are provided with a selection of teas and coffee, electric kettle, alarm clock and hairdryer.
The guests' sitting/breakfast room:- is perfect for unwinding. There is a solid fuel stove to cheer you up in winter and the cottage garden to inspire you in summer. Enjoy watching the wide variety of birds whilst being served your choice of breakfast. There is a diverse collection of books for your enjoyment. A small fridge containing fresh milk and chilled water is also available for guests' use.
Evening meals available on request.
Floral Suite
This is an en-suite room with its own colour TV. The 'L' shaped
bedroom reflects sunshine and is furnished with a double and single bed, thus
allowing it to be used as a twin or double. Items of furniture are adorned with
flowers and this theme is continued into the bathroom. There is a full size bath
with a separate shower attachment.

Rose Room
Slightly larger than the Floral bedroom it also has a colour TV
and radio alarm. It is virtually ensuite with the shower room only two steps
(one aerobic) away! The Rose Room has a double-bed and is decorated in shades of
green and cream with roses and honeysuckle hand painted around the doorway. The
original fireplace was discovered during renovation and has been restored to its
former glory.

Tulip Room
This room has a single bed with a radio alarm. It is decorated
in Boating Lake blue with tulips adorning items of furniture. The shower room is
just a few steps away.
Guests staying in this room have the use of the TV in the sitting room.

All bookings must be confirmed by a non-refundable deposit of £10 per room, per night.
When a deposit has not been received - due to lateness of booking etc. -
cash/cheque for the full amount will be required on arrival.
Unfortunately, at the present time we can only accept payment by cheque or
pounds sterling.

The surrounding area offers many opportunities for walking, cycling, bird watching or merely admiring the beautiful countryside and picturesque villages.
Return in the evenings to the relaxed and tranquil atmosphere of Tole Cottage. Each room has a floral theme, reflecting Jean's love of Decorative Folk Painting.
How to find us
By car:-
From the A607 heading south from Melton Mowbray. On
entering Kirby Bellars, turn right into Main Street (immediately after the Jet
Garage). Tole Cottage
can be found on the right hand side.
From the A607 heading north from Leicester. On entering Kirby Bellars, pass the
'Flying Childers' public house on your right, and then take the second left into
Main Street (immediately before the Jet garage). Tole Cottage can be found on
the right hand side.
By train:- We are only three miles away from Melton Railway Station
Coach Services:- The National Express Coaches and Airport Express Service run regular services, stopping at St. Mary’s Coach Station in Leicester.
Bus Services:- The Arriva company bus operates a frequent service from Leicester to Melton Mowbray stopping by request at Kirby Bellars.
