The Lismore Hotel is friendly and informal. It is a very comfortable and tastefully furnished Victorian home.
Since taking over in December 2003 the Hotel is undergoing dramatic changes, with great plans for the future whilst retaining the hotels original charm and character.
All of our rooms are slowly being decorated to bring the quality of the rooms to a standard much higher than you would expect for a small local hotel. Each room has décor matched to its size and furniture, giving a warm ambience and undeniable quality.
The Rooms
We have just had a major refurbishment we boast 5 stunning 4 poster beds, 9 family rooms, 1 room sleeping 6 to 8 people, 20 double rooms and 3 single rooms all rooms for single occupancy.
All the rooms have private en-suite bathrooms, colour television, direct dial
telephone, fresh orange and provision for tea and coffee making as well as our
own special touches. There are iron and ironing boards in every room, and if
your stay is longer than expected, we can even help with your laundry needs.

Dining
Throughout the day an extensive choice of freshly prepared food is available, and can be taken in the restaurant or the bar. The wine list is comprehensive. There are fine wines as well as a good choice of more moderately priced wines from Spain, Italy and Germany.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated and a superb place to experience Mr. Smiths wonderful food. We have an ever changing menu of A La Carte dining,. traditional hearty bar meals, plus popular daily specials. Sunday Lunch and all your favourite homemade puddings. Please note that booking is advisable for the restaurant.
Bar/Lounge
Retaining the original Victorian Oak panelling, with an open log fire during the winter months, you may enjoy a drink before or after your meal. There is a well stocked bar with a wide selections of beers and spirits.
Functions
Our Honeymoon suite with four-poster bed is a perfect way to end your perfect wedding day. The beautiful decoration, the complimentary bottle of champagne, fresh fruit and flowers are all part of the special Lismore welcome.
We can even host your reception. Our restaurant can seat up to 30, our
decking outside can seat up to 150 guests. Our rates are very competitive and
our atmosphere is always warm and inviting.

We have a small conference room suitable for up to 15 delegates.
