The Hills Farm is situated on
high ground overlooking the Teme Valley with magnificent views, and surrounded
by arable land.
We are just 5 miles from Leominster and 10 from Ludlow, Leysters
a small hamlet in the very north if Herefordshire.
We are ideally situated for exploring the English and Welsh Marches.
The Accommoation
We have three guest bedrooms – all in barn conversions, each one identified by a wall plaque; all the rooms are fitted with remote control televisions, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and alarm clock radios. The beds are either a standard double or standard twin with non allergenic duvets; each bed has a feather pillow and a polyester pillow. Sheets and blankets are also supplied in each room. There is a comprehensive information book provided.
The dining room is in the main farmhouse, 25 metres from the Fuggles; 30 metres from the Tigeen, with level access along a gravelled path from both. The Tallet is 25 metres from the bottom of the stairs. Access to the farmhouse is through a door 80 cm wide into the sitting room; the dining room is up two steps and is level throughout.
Breakfast:- Breakfast is served in
the Farmhouse at individual tables with chairs without arms and the
furniture can be moved to accommodate larger parties etc. Choice of a
continental style breakfast or traditional full English; we use local produce
wherever possible and serve home made jams and preserves.
We do not play background music and can cater for vegetarian/gluten free and
dairy free diets with notice.
Please Note:-
There is no guest toilet within the farmhouse.
The Rooms
All the rooms are well decorated with good colour contrasts between floors
and walls, the bathroom fitments are white porcelain and all areas are provide
with good lighting.
The Tigeen
An individual barn conversion, the front door is 80cm wide and opens into a small lobby. The bathroom is off this lobby accessed through a 70cm door; the entrance hall and bathroom are tiled. Carpeted stairs led up to the loft style bedroom, the heating is controllable electric panel heaters. The Bathroom is fitted with a bath [with built in handles] basin and toilet and heated towel rail.
The Fuggles

A ground floor ensuite twin bedded room, accessed
through a front door 80cm wide into a large hall area off which is the
bathroom and bedroom. The hall and bathroom are tiled; the bedroom is
carpeted.

The radiators are all thermostatically controlled. The bathroom
has a bath [with built-in handles] which has an electric shower over it,
basin and toilet and heated towel rail.
The Tallet

Situated above The Fuggles accessed by an external
flight of stairs through an 80cm door which opens into a large hall area,
off which is the bathroom.

Outside
Garden:- You may also relax in the garden enjoying the panoramic view.
The Hills Farm is a working farm there maybe tractors and implements moving during the working day.
The grounds are extensive with panoramic views; we provide garden chairs and tables.
There are two semi wild ponds.
We have a large barn that is available for the parking of bicycles/vintage cars/ motorcycles etc.
Additional Information
Mobile telephone reception is generally Ok but can be patchy.
We are a no smoking house.
Guest’s personal medicines may be stored and refrigerated where necessary.
We are not ideally suited to guests fully dependent on the use of a wheelchair, any guest obliged to use a walking aid may easily access The Fuggles and dining room, and assistance is always available where necessary. Rooms are not adapted for wheelchair use.

National Trust properties nearby:- Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, Brockhampton Court.
Gardens:- Stocktonbury, Burford House and Hampton Court
are all within 6 miles.
Ludlow, Leominster and Hereford are all easily visited. The
Black and White Village Trail takes you round some of the prettiest villages in
Herefordshire.

Each room has its own front door and key so that guests may come and go during their stay with us. We do appreciate an estimated time of arrival on your first day Departure is requested by 10.15 am
We are pleased to accommodate children over 12 years.
We normally expect guests to arrive after 4pm and depart by 10.30 am, please
advise us if you need to arrive earlier.
We accept credit and debit cards [excluding American Express and Diners].
We regret that we cannot accommodate dogs or cats, but can advise of local
kennels and catteries.
