Sylina is a friendly, family run guesthouse situated in a quiet country location approximately 30 minutes walk from Hugh Town. 

The island bus picks up at the end of our lane and there are several good taxi services available.

We are close to beautiful beaches and wonderful coastal walks. We have a garden and conservatory for your enjoyment where you can just sit and relax, read or enjoy a drink before dinner. 

Accommodation

Bedrooms:- We have four rooms situated on the ground floor. All the rooms are ensuite (with showers). Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, hairdryer and a clock/radio alarm.

Rooms 1 and 2:-  These rooms can be made up as either doubles or twins. We are able to put an extra bed in Room 1 if required.

Room 3:-  is a double room.

Room 4:-  is a double room.

We welcome children 10 years and older but regret that we do not take dogs (or any other pets).

Breakfast

Breakfast is served between 8.15-8.45am. Early breakfast can be arranged for guests departing on early flights. 

 Evening Meals 

An optional home cooked evening meal is served three nights a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) and seven nights a week from 22nd September 2008 to 28th March 2009.

Any special dietary requirements (i.e. vegetarian, ceoliac etc) must be stated when the deposit is paid.

 How to Get Here

By Air:-  Aeroplane from Southampton, Bristol, Exeter, Newquay or Land's End, Isles of Scilly Skybus. Helicopter from Penzance
British International Helicopters.

By Sea:- Scillonian III from Penzance, Isles of Scilly Steamship Company.

Please note:-  there is no travel to or from the islands on Sundays.

Arrivals and Departures

Every effort will be made to have your room ready by 12 noon on your day of arrival and we request that it is vacated by 10.00 am on your day of departure. We are happy to hold luggage for guests arriving early or departing late

Please contact us to check availability before booking your travel, rather than  contact us to check the vacancy, that is on the website as it comes after our vacancies. 

From May to September our minimum booking is for three nights.

Tariff 2009

All prices are per person per night. We are open all year with the exception of Christmas and New Year.
