Star House is a Terraced Victorian House located on a residential street near to Doclands Light Railway. There are facilities to park on our private forecourt.
Brian and Norma Wilson, would like to invite you and your family to our friendly Bed & Breakfast
All guests are welcomed to Star House with a friendly smile and refreshments that include a hot or cold drink, and a choice of home cooked bread pudding or cake. We offer a relaxed environment that has no curfews as our guests are offered their own set of keys for the duration of their stay.
We have a lovely, secluded garden with a small fish pond. When the weather is favourable we serve breakfast etc. in the garden on the patio area, providing a fresh and relaxing place to read the morning papers.
Meals are served in the country styled kitchen.
We are also more than happy to provide breakfast in bed on a tray to give you a relaxed start to your day.
On entering Star House, you will see that it is a themed house, based on our love of classic black and white movies.

With easy access to Mainline trains Star House is ideally located for business or entertainment trips into Central London, which is only a 20 minute journey.
Accommodation
All bedrooms are always kept clean and comfortable.
The bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for clothes etc. Cable TV, Tea / Coffee making facilities, Biscuits, and a Hairdryer.
For your comfort we also supply biscuits along with tea and coffee making
facilities.
Bathrooms
There are Two shower rooms available. Both offer total privacy and have wash basins and WC's.
Fresh clean towelling and toiletries are also provided.
For breakfast we offer a good selection of Breakfast Cereals, Yoghurts, Croissants, Muffin's. Bread/Toast with Jams and Preserves and Fresh Fruit.
A large cooked breakfast is available for a small extra charge.
Also for a small charge Packed Lunches are available.

Star house is just a short journey from Greenwich, where you can board a River Bus that will take you directly to the heart of this fantastic city. If you want to see London, then the variety of tours provided by London Pride are probably just what you are looking for. Tour guides will tell you many fascinating facts relating to the cities most popular buildings and attractions.
Star House is within easy access to them all, by Train, London Transport bus and underground services, or if you prefer a Taxi.
How to get here
Arrival by Underground train.
Take underground train via docklands light railway to Lewisham station and then on to Star House by Black cab
Arrival by car from the M25
Take A20 (or A2) for 8 miles, then turn left onto A205 South Circular Road. After 1.0 miles from A20 (or 1.7 miles from A2) there is an overhead railway bridge with a "Bestway" sign. HITHER GREEN is first right after Railway. During the Day, there is no right turn there, so take second right into Well Meadow Road. Take the left into Hither Green Lane and we are 100 metres on the left - park on our forecourt.

If you are booking two or more weeks in advance then a refundable deposit of 20% of total is required. Deposits are refunded in full providing any booking cancellation is made at least 48 hour before your stay is due to begin.
