img07This unusual Victorian terrace house dates from the 1890's along with some houses from a much earlier period.

Bootham was a very prestigious area to live, with lots of parkland to the north, south and west.

Our ancient and very beautiful city has much to offer visitors in both summer and winter.

Before Henry's dissolution of the monasteries Bootham and St Marys was part of St Marys Abbey, which covered a very large area. The ruins of the Abbey can still be seen in the Museum Gardens. We do hope that your visit to 23 St Marys will be comfortable and enjoyable, and that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you to our home.
