Comely Bank welcomes you, we are situated in a central, yet quiet part of Braemar in Royal Deeside.

 Ideally situated for walking in the Cairngorms and Eastern Grampians, with many well known Munros within a days reach.  We are also  the closest village to the Glenshee ski slopes.

A warm welcome is always guaranteed at Comely Bank's comfortable family home. Braemar is the perfect base for exploring beautiful Royal Deeside.  As you can see, we have stunning views right on our doorstep.

All rooms have thermostatically controlled central heating, wash basin, TV. tea and coffee making facilities, and sweeties

There's a cosy lounge with a log fire, and a peaceful garden adjoining the river Clunie, where you can sit and watch the wildlife - maybe even see an otter if you're really lucky

Breakfasts are guaranteed to set you up for the day.  Packed lunch and evening meal by arrangement.

Despite the wide variety of walks that you can enjoy in the immediate locality, you are within easy reach of some of finest mountain terrain in Scotland with the Cairngorms within east reach. Wild and desolate, with considerable tracts above 4000 feet, the Cairngorms offer many challenging routes in all seasons.
