This charming former wayside inn has been completely restyled and extended to create a sixteen bedroom hotel that is already becoming known for its individuality and contemporary character.

The new, modern interior together with its dedicated and friendly management style, make it a venue equally appealing to local diners, businesses, weekend visitors and to those celebrating a special event.

We are situated close to Princes Risborough and just a few miles from High Wycombe. Both the M40 and the Chiltern Line are convenient for the traveller.

The Rose and Crown regularly hold live music evenings, gourmet dinners, wine tastings and themed evenings with an international flavour.

Staying at the Rose and Crown means you don't have to go out in search of good cuisine: everything you'll need to eat and drink is right to hand!

The light, modern feeling of the bar and restaurant has been extended to the rooms.

All of the fourteen rooms have been refurbished with new furniture and have en- suite shower room. Every room has satellite television and a modem point.

Should guests cancel less than 24 hours before arrival, we regret that we must charge 50% of their booking.

The popularity of the Rose and Crown as a wedding venue continues to spiral. Our brand new marquee set in charming hotel grounds, surrounded by the rolling Chiltern hills, provides the ideal setting for your perfect day.

Our individually tailored packages look after every detail of your special event. Our innovative and eclectic range of menus are designed to encompass both the traditional and the exotic and are perfectly complemented by our extensive range of wines, drinks and cocktails

The Rose and Crown is dedicated to serving the highest quality food with the finest ingredients. All the dishes we are offering you, we freshly prepare and we aim to provide a consistently excellent product whether it be for two or two hundred guests!

Please note that the Rose & Crown is unable to offer amplified music in the marquee, but is able to provide live music of all types. Amplified music may be offered within the building itself.

Fully catered weddings in our beautiful marquee may also be offered at The Crooked Billet, Kingswood, nr Aylesbury  or at The Lone Tree, Thorn borough, nr Buckingham.

Catering Service

If you have already chosen the perfect venue for your wedding, but have not yet found suitable caterers for your special day, The Rose & Crown can also offer a professional, reliable individually tailored catering service brought straight to your door!

Business is as important to us as leisure, and we hope that we can help you to combine the two. Our out-of-town location, private rooms and other hotel facilities provide everything needed for business meetings and mini conferences. Menus and drinks can be arranged to suit your requirements.

Board meetings over breakfast, lunches with a pen and fork, afternoon tea - you choose the format for your programme, we attend to every detail.

The Whiteleaf Room

This room will comfortably seat 20 theatre-style or 15 boardroom-style. And, if you're hosting a larger event, we can accommodate you in the marquee.

And after a hard day’s work, what better than to finish with dinner in the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. Bespoke packages covering accommodation, meeting rooms and meals are available on request
