A warm welcome awaits you at Draymans in West Sussex -

Draymans was once part of a brewery complex - the oast house can still be seen behind. The house is Georgian, close to the historic city centre and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and theatre.  There are three bedrooms one double en-suite bathroom and a double and single sharing a bathroom and shower. They are all well-equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, radio and TV. Breakfast, either full English or continental, is served in the dining room downstairs.

Draymans was named after the men who drove the horse-drawn carts (drays) to and from this former brewery. The cellars still retain the indentations made by the barrels, but the smell of hops disappeared some time ago!

Built in 1735 it has been home to many, including the workmen who built nearby Goodwood House, the family seat of the Duke of Richmond and Gordon.

Accommodation

On the first floor there are three comfortable bedrooms, one double with an en-suite bathroom, one double with a washbasin and a single overlooking the oast house at the back. The guest bathroom, next door to the single bedroom, also has a shower. All the rooms are well-equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, easy chairs, a TV and a radio.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast in this sunny room overlooking a delightful courtyard garden. Full English or Continental breakfast is served with free-range eggs, organic bread and home-made marmalade.

Parking is also available, either unrestricted street parking outside the house or off-road behind.
