A beautiful period Grade II Listed country house in quiet rural surroundings.

Crockshard is set in vivid, colourful gardens, and is a perfect base for visiting all of Kent. Ideally located for visiting any part of Kent, including the historic cathedral city of Canterbury (10 mins drive), the Channel crossings (Dover 20 mins), the Cinque Port towns, local beaches (Joss Bay awarded Best Beach by The Times), and a wealth of castles, stately homes, gardens, wildlife parks, steam railways, vineyards and much much more.

Full English breakfast, served with homemade bread and jams, served in our farmhouse kitchen.

We don't do evening meals, but there is a wealth of local pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

Lounge:- We have a beautiful sitting room with television for our guests, and all of the rooms are tastefully restored to maintain the country house feel.

There is also great golf locally, where the British open was held just 10 minutes away, in July 2003.
 

Directions


From the A2 between Canterbury and Dover, take the B2046 towards Aylesham, Wingham, and Goodnestone. Continue for approx 4 miles, and then take a lane on the right called Crockshard Lane, which is also signed to Little Crockshard Farm shop (large blue sign). We are the first house on the left in that lane.

From Canterbury, leave the Ringroad at the cinema, then take a left at the traffic lights. At the next roundabout, turn right, past the prison, and continue along the Sandwich road (A257). Go through the villages of Littlebourne and Bramling. Continue to Wingham, and there is a church on the left, and two pubs on the right, The Dog, and The Red Lion. After The Red Lion, turn right towards Barham. Continue for 3/4 mile, and take the 2nd turning on the left, called Crockshard Lane. We are the first house on the left.
