Built in the late 1800's as a fine country manor house, the building has skillfully and sensitively modernised to provide a unique flavour of old fashioned opulence combined with all the comforts and modern amenities expected by today's travellers. Yet all this is set in 9 acres of beautiful tranquil grounds, with lovely views across the beautiful surrounding countryside, creating a haven of rest for our guests.

Accommodation

All our 152 bedrooms and suites feature en-suite bathrooms, remote control satellite TV system, radio, hair dryer, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.

Furnishings are of the highest standard throughout with several rooms being set out for family use.

Luxury suites are also available, spacious and inviting they have deep pile carpeting, superb drapes, comfortable easy chairs, mahogany dressing table and bureau, and in one room, a magnificent four poster bed and a bath big enough for two!

Culinary Delights

Our restaurant provides a light yet intimate atmosphere for you to relax in. Breakfast is served with both hot and cold selections.

In the evening you can choose from a superb A' La Carte menu offering a range of dishes specially prepared to satisfy the most discerning of diners and served to the very highest of standards.

Conference in style

The Russ Hill Hotel has no less than ten conference/meetings suites to cater for fifteen to three hundred and fifty delegates. Our Concorde suite at 4,860 square feet is one of the largest ground floor exhibition rooms in the Gatwick area. Every back-up service you could need is provided with fax, phone, secretarial service, PC's and messenger & courier services all available at the Business Centre in the heart of the Hotel.

Fitness and health

All our guests have access to the full range of health and leisure facilities available within the hotel, including one of the largest swimming pools in the area (12 metres). In addition there is a Sauna, fully equipped Gymnasium with free weights, a Cardiovascular training room with Jogger, Bike, Stepper and Rowing Machine. Outside you can enjoy the Country Jogging Trail, all weather Tennis Court, Boule area and Croquet Lawn all set in 9 acres of park like grounds, ideal for walking, jogging or simply relaxing.

By Plane of Train go to Gatwick Airport South Terminal. Follow the signs to the Hotel Shuttle Coach area. Coaches to and from the Russ Hill Hotel and the Airport run regularly through most of the day. Please call the Hotel to check the current timetable. (The Gatwick Express train runs non-stop from London Victoria at frequent intervals throughout the day and night. The journey takes 30 minutes).

By Car – from the M25, take the M23 and exit at junction 9 for Gatwick Airport – follow the A23 Crawley/Redhill signs over 2 roundabouts. At the third roundabout, turn left, signed to Charlwood/Gatwick Zoo. At the end of Charlwood village, opposite the village hall, turn left towards Russ Hill & Gatwick Zoo. The Russ Hill is 1 mile on your left.
