Our B&B is situated in a scenic and remote spot within the Dartmoor National Forest, Hazelcott B&B can offer unparalled opportunities for relaxation and getting away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life.

Hazelcott is situated on the side of a beautiful valley, adjacent to a national Nature Reserve, and having parked your car in our private car park, you need not use it again during your stay,  take advantage of delightful walks, all from our front door.

The B&B itself is situated in the picturesque village of Manaton, roughly 5 miles from the town of Bovey Tracey which is well served by road networks to make easy access to the Moor.

We are within easy driving distance of the ancient town of Exeter, with good shopping and dining opportunities.  Within the same distance is the Naval port of Plymouth, including the newly built National Aquarium.

Other attractions in the area include The English Rivera at Torbay, which offers an attractive and typical English seaside town. While a little further away, but still reachable by car is the Eden Project an excellent opportunity to sample the tropics in England.

Haytor Suite

Offers you an Emperor size zip & link bed, you can chose between a double or twin.

You have your own sitting room, with TV and Hi-Fi to relax and a luxurious bathroom, with an Air Bath and separate shower. The "Haytor Suite" benefits from amazing sunsets.

Horsham

The room has views towards Hunters Tor and the sun rise, seating and an ensuite bathroom. Relax in the luxury robe whist enjoying the views.

As well as offering Bed and Breakfast, Nigel is also offering guided walks of the surrounding Dartmoor countryside, please take time to look at the 'Walking Breaks' on our website.

Escaping the hustle and bustle of every day life? Then try out Nigel's guided walks around the surrounding countryside of Manaton. 

Nigel will provide either advice on local walks or, for a moderate charge, act as your guide.

Refreshments or a picnic lunch, are available.

On your return relax in our lounge and appreciate the views and log fire, whilst enjoying a hot drink and a slice of Nigel's homemade cake

The walks vary from moderate to strenuous and you are advised to wear sensible footwear and clothing, appropriate for the Moor.
