Welcome to Trecarne House.

Trecarne House is situated at the end of a country lane in a beautiful tranquil setting on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.

If you fancy a stroll to one of the two village pubs for an evening meal, this is done very easily by strolling back down the lane and you're back in the heart of the village. In the village you will find the historic St Cleer Well, Church, a village shop and post office

At Trecarne House we like to do everything possible to make our guests feel welcome and part of the family. We keep things very informal and relaxed.

Breakfast is served at whatever time you would like it in either the Conservatory, Dining Room or outside in the garden. 

Accommodation

On entering Trecarne House there is a great feeling of space and light. The large entrance hall leads up a pine staircase to the wooden galleried landing.

All rooms have uninterrupted views across beautiful open countryside

Each of our spacious and well decorated bedrooms are equipped for your total comfort  with coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryers, colour television and video recorders in every room. 

Every guest bedroom also has stripped pine floors, which gives the house a wonderful Scandinavian feel.

All the rooms are named for example:-:

Amy's

 A spacious studio room with settee and arm chair and French windows and with an ensuite.

Ella's

An equally spacious room with settee and ensuite and Fitzy again, spacious with settee and own private bathroom adjacent.

Lounge

In the evenings, guests are welcome to use the Lounge/TV room featuring a fireplace built in Cornish Stone and Slate.

Garden

The back garden has a 14' diameter trampoline, outdoor table tennis and a pool table. There are also plenty of toys for younger children.

There is a paddock  where guests can walk or children can play ball games and run free without the parents worrying.

Tariff's

Double rooms:-                     start at £30 per person per night.

Children 12 yrs and under: -  half adult rate when sharing with adults.

Single rates:-                          start at £40.
