Clarendon Lodge is situated close to Shelly Park and only minutes from pleasant cliff top walks with beautiful views and safe sandy beaches.

               

Roger and Elizabeth Bickle the owners  are conveniently situated for flights from Bournemouth Airport and ferries from Poole to France. The train and bus stations are only a few minutes drive away and road links with Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch are excellent. The Clarendon Lodge is a family run guest house with all rooms en-suite and decorated to a high standard. We aim to offer comfortable accommodation at a sensible price.

Ideally situated for access by car or frequent bus and rail services to Bournemouth town centre with its attractions such as the B.I.C., Pavilion Theatre, Gardens and Cinemas. Neighbouring Christchurch, Poole with the ferry to France, the New Forest and Purbecks are nearby. Bournemouth International Airport, rail and coach stations are all within easy reach.

Bournemouth is a beautiful seaside town located on the south coast of Dorset in the United kingdom. The town is regarded as one of England's premier sea side resorts with its long safe, sandy and clean beaches ideal for everyone from small children to grand parents and all those in between.

Places to visit

There are many attractions from beautiful parks and gardens, walks along the cliff tops and promenade or see one of the top line acts or shows at the Bournemouth International Centre (B.I.C.). Neighbouring Christchurch, Poole with the ferry to France, the New Forest and Purbecks are nearby. The New Forest with its pretty villages such as Brockenhurst and Burley are just a short drive away as are Salisbury, Winchester, Swanage and Corfe Castle. The Isle of Wight can be reached by frequent ferries sailing from Lymington.

Boscombe is situated between bustling Bournemouth and the historic priory town of Christchurch with its excellent bus links to both. Boscombe itself has a large range of shops, parks and gardens and even has its own pier and sea front promenade. A brief stroll along which will take you right into the centre of Bournemouth.

Directions

Directions By Car: From M3 heading south, take exit 13 on to the M27 heading westbound toward Bournemouth. As you continue on to the A31 through Ringwood, turn left to Bournemouth on the A338.

As you near Bournemouth, follow the signs for Boscombe. From Christchurch Road which is one of the main shopping streets in Boscombe, turn right into Crabton Close Road. Simply follow this road until you reach the Clarendon Lodge on your left.
