With the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons as the backdrop, this canal is definitely a Jewel among Waterways.  Our boats provide plenty of storage space for your personal things. All our furnishings are to a very high standard with sprung interior mattresses on all permanent beds and fabric covered upholstery on convertible berths, freshly laundered bed linen, bathroom toiletries, and cleaning materials. All boats have constant hot water and central heating via radiators for those cooler days.

The Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal. Road House Narrowboats. 4 classes of boats sleeping from 2- 4, 4-5 4-6 persons. We are a small family business which have been operating on the canal for 25 years. We design our boats ourselves to give easy handling on the shallow waters of this canal. All boats are carefully fitted out to make maximum use of space and provide comfort. The boats are well-equipped with electric freshwater toilets, full-sized electric fridge, gas cooker and central heating with radiators. Safe car park in our yard. If you plan to arrive by railway, we can collect you from Abergavenny Station.
