Outdoor Experience

Situated on the southern edge of picturesque Dartmoor, Outdoor Experience has been serving caravan users and campers since 1997 when we took over from Ashburn Caravans who had been selling caravans here since the 1960's giving us, in total, over 40 years experience in the outdoor leisure industry.

At our site in Ashburton, Devon you will find displays of a large variety of caravans, awnings, tents, trailer tents and accessories. We are the only retailers in Devon and Cornwall of Bailey and Ace Caravans and we also stock Apache and Isabella Awnings for these.

All the accessories you require for an enjoyable Caravanning or Camping trip can be found in our shop at Outdoor Experience

A whole host of products are available for your caravan including aqua rolls, waste masters, melamine sets, TV's, videos, DVD players and even microwaves. Spare parts for caravans are also available from the shop.

An extensive range of camping equipment is available such as camping stoves, cool boxes and fridges, torches and lanterns, kettles and of course the all important pegs and guy ropes! Spare parts for any of the tents we stock can be ordered from our shop.

A variety of sleeping bags can be found in our shop for both caravan and camping use. These come in different styles, colours and temperature ratings meaning you should be able to find one to meet your requirements.

A wide selection of table and chairs are available for your tent or awning from manufacturers such as Concept, Lafuma and Crespo. Also available are the popular foldaway table and chair set

The tents we stock are of the highest quality. We are stockists of Cabanon frame tents and trailer tents as well as Outwell, Vango, Coleman, Khyam and Sunncamp Dome tents. We also have an Approved Caravan Workshop and are happy to carry out servicing work on any make of caravan.

Due to high demand for new and used caravans, we are always looking to purchase good condition and clean caravans, any year considered!

Our opening times are Monday to Saturday 9am - 6pm, Sundays and Bank Holidays 11am - 5pm. Please contact us for Easter and Christmas opening times.
