Accommodation 

Our comfortable, rural accommodation includes 34 en-suite rooms situated throughout 5 country houses - the Grange, the Stable, the Paris suite, the Glebe Farmhouse and the Noel.

Each room consists of the modern amenities, but still maintains the original character of the country houses.

All bedrooms have the usual modern amenities, such as: Colour TV, Radio alarm clock, direct dial telephone, hair-dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

The Grange dining room offers delicious farmhouse style cuisine as an alternative for those wishing for a more private environment. Evening barbeque's can also be arranged on request.

Whitwell is close to a number of attractions including Rutland Water, covering 3100 acres with 25 miles of shoreline, picnic sites, adventure playgrounds, trout fishing, day sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, walks, an outdoor climbing centre and complimentary cycle hire is available on site. The village is a short drive away from the historic market towns of Stamford and Oakham, which provide a good range of restaurants, shops and entertainment.

Our dedicated wedding co-ordinators offer all the help you need to organise your wedding day taking away your stress and leaving you to enjoy the perfect wedding day.

The Osprey room is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 50 people. The Osprey has been carefully converted from an old farm building into a suite retaining many of its original features.

Wedding reception parties of up to 24 can be catered for at The Grange.

Wedding reception parties of up to 85 may wish to use the Conservatory.
