The Coach House Hotel, primarily built of local flint and previously known as the Coach and Horses Inn, has maintained its old world charm and offers a warm friendly welcome to all our guests. After major refurbishment by the new management it now has all modern facilities.
Nestled amongst plush farmland, this pretty old coaching inn is situated on the A505 and just minutes from J10 of the M11 is easily accessible from the A10 and A11. We are ideally located for Hitchen and Royston to the west, Cambridge to the north, Duxford and Newmarket to the east and of course the pretty market town of Bishops Stortford and Stansted to the south. All locations are approximately 20 minutes from The Coach House Hotel!
With a traditionally English restaurant, bar and private parking for 100 cars, our 22 newly upgraded ensuite bedrooms are designed with your comfort and care in mind.
Accommodation
The Coach House Hotel has 22 bedrooms all recently refurbished with comfort and individuality being our priority.
All are centrally heated, ensuite and have remote controlled television, clock/radio, trouser press, hairdryer and hospitality trays, and direct modem access for the internet
The hotel has 3 separate wings all surrounding our
beautifully rebuilt courtyard that has the soothing sounds of our renaissance
style water feature. The majority of the individually decorated rooms overlook
the courtyard. Family rooms in the rear wing are perfect for that extended stay
at affordable rates.

The Coach House Hotel is located 5 minutes from the M11 at
junction 10 and is ideally situated for all types of meetings and conferences.
Being 20 minutes from Cambridge, The Science Parks and Stansted Airport we aim
to provide you with all the requirements necessary to make your meeting or
conference a success.
The Coach House Hotel offers a large room to host up to 80 delegates set in the
style of your choice. With air conditioned comfort and first rate facilities.

The restaurant, which is open to non-residents, specialises in fresh local produce presenting value for money.

evenings and lunchtimes throughout the week
One of our specialities is the warm welcome given to local lunch groups and organisations. The restaurant, which has a modern contemporary feel, seats up to 60 comfortably and has plentiful parking.
The windows on the side of the restaurant overlook our pretty lit courtyard featuring our renaissance styled fountain.
