Welcome to The Crown Inn and Hotel, situated away in a quiet Cotswold village, with its mellow stone walls covered in Virginia creeper. We are a a 14th century coaching inn with cosy log fires crackling in the winter, filling the air with wonderful scents of wood smoke.

The hotel in the Cotswolds is close to all local attractions and beautiful villages such as Bourton on the Water, Broadway, Burford, Stratford Upon Avon and many others.

The Crown Inn & Hotel reflects the tranquil nature of Blockley, with its walks along bridle paths, bowls on the village green and horse riding. Taking a short break in the Cotswolds is ideal for everyone with so much wonderful scenery and many walks and parks. The Crown Inn is the perfect meeting place for both friends and locals alike.

There is always a choice of Real Ales and a delightful selection of individual bar snacks. Rafters Restaurant at the Crown makes dining a pleasure. Our resident chef designs his menus to tempt all palates and our superb cellar holds a fine range of classic and New World wines to compliment your meal. All of our rooms are different in style and size, with features such as fireplaces and four poster beds.

Bedrooms:- 24 en-suite bedrooms The Crown Inn Hotel offers a wide range of accommodation ranging from standard to deluxe, including twin, double and four poster rooms. All rooms are en suite and non-smoking, equipped with colour television, Sky, radio, hair dryer, direct dial telephone and room service. Tea/Coffee making facilities, Horlicks, Hot chocolate, and a carton of juice.

We welcome pets by prior arrangement in all areas of the Hotel.

Lounge

The lounge is well furnished with easy chairs, a settee and a useful supply of books and table games. The enterprising team created here an informal and friendly hotel with a most relaxing atmosphere.  .

Restaurant

The head of the team , Dr Giovanni Testagrossa, personally supervises the efficient and courteous service, whilst our Head Chef exercise his enthusiastic talents in the kitchen, the dinning room and the busy bar. International and English cuisine is a feature of the Rafter Restaurant. , all dishes are individually prepared.

With dishes to tempt all palates our chefs prepare, cook and serve a balanced blend of traditional and modern cuisine produced from fresh ingredients, where possible, from local purveyors.

Our cellar holds a fine range of Classic and New World wines to complete your meal. Open to non residents as well as residents the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of Rafters restaurant makes dining a pleasure.

No strict dress code. Smart Casual encouraged.

Rafters restaurant is available to hire for private lunch parties.
