Portsonachan Hotel
Dalmally, Argyll, Scotland

Portsonachan is steeped in history and the Clan Campbell stronghold of
Kilchurn Castle stands at the north eastern end of Loch Awe. The location of the
hotel offers glorious views of the loch and the mighty Ben Cruachan.
The
Conservatory offers a truly spectacular view of the east side and northern end
of the loch. From the conservatory you can see Ben Cruchan, also called the
Hollow Mountain, due to the hydro electric dam. The dam is located halfway up
the mountain and we recommend that guests take a closer look at this marvel of
engineering.
