We are open for eleven months of the year. 

Tanglewood Caravan Park is a friendly, family-run park on the fringes of the Lake District National Park. We are a quiet, friendly site, ideal for those relaxing, laid back holidays.  

Our holiday park is surrounded by the natural beauty of the countryside, so if you are energetic, or more of the relaxing holidaymaker, there is something for everyone, long hikes, cycling or take in the natural beauty whilst sitting having a lovely picnic in the beautiful sunshine. 

We have been established for over 30 years and pride ourselves on the quality of service that we provide. 

We are also a pet friendly site and welcome you to bring them along with you free of charge, after all they deserve a holiday too, the only thing we do ask is that dogs are kept on a lead when out on site.

Site facilities

We have 21 pitches for touring caravans, all with electric hook-ups and water/drainage facilities. Awnings, cars etc are free of charge. There are also 10 pitches for tents.

Facilities include clean showers and toilets with under floor heating. Chemical toilet disposal, and a fully equipped laundry room, and dish washing facilities.

Static Hire

The Caravan Park has 58 static's of which nine are presently for hire, all of which are fully equipped. We also have new and pre-owned holiday homes for sale.

We also have a fully licensed bar with a warm friendly, family atmosphere with occasional entertainment.

 Pets are welcome free of charge but they must be kept under control at all times.

Around the area

We are only a short drive away from the Lake District, or maybe you fancy a day out to the very famous Gretna Green. These are just a couple of the many places to visit around and about.

We are also just a mile and a half away from Silloth. Silloth has an extensive sandy beach, with fishing, swimming, golf-course etc, available for the holidaymaker. Silloth has many events happening in the summer months, including Silloth Carnival Day, and the famous Beer Festival. There is a market day on Thursday's and at the weekend. We also have a huge Sunday market on a nearby airfield

There is no extra charge for Awnings. Cars, Pets Etc

We do ask that dogs are kept under control at all times, and clean up afterwards on site or surrounding areas.
