Farmhouse "BABI"

St-REMY-of-PROVENCE:

Completed in 2004, the villa is of style typically of Provence and offers an absolute comfort. Situated at the feet of Alpilles, beside a small channel, its views are superb and its ideal entourage for walks filled of Provence.

The centre of St Remy is only at 5 minutes walk away where you will find shops as well as famous restaurants. The Sea with all its attractions is only to 60 km.

Accommodation

The villa  is down a private road with gate, intercom and alarm.

There are four rooms all beautifully decorated throughout.

Left Wing:-

Room Olivades - sleeps 2

Double ensuite bedroom with shower  hand basin and Wc. Terrace.

Room Small Prince - sleeps 2

Double ensuite bedroom with bath, shower wash basin, changing table and Wc. Terrace.

Right Wing:-

Room Van Gogh - sleeps 4

Double bed and a sofa bed. Shower, wash basin and Wc.  Terrace under trellised vineyard.

Double bedroom with Television. Marble bathroom has bath, shower, wash basin and Wc. Shared balcony with loggia,

A fifth WC with marble wash-stand is available for the guests.

The house has 2 kitchens: 1 interior (oven, microwaves, dishwasher, American refrigerator, hotplates, sink, toaster, coffee machine, all crockery and equipment for 10 people) and 1 external glaze to protect you from the burning sun of South (BBQ, grill, furnace with turn-pins, hotplates, sink, refrigerator, all crockery and equipment for cooking for 10 people).

The dining room and the living room have visible beams. An open fire for chilly winter evenings.

The living room, has Cable TV with one hundred channels, DVD, and a HIFI.  Free internet. 

Information

Air-conditioning and  heating make it possible to have a comfortable temperature throughout the year.

In the wash-house there is a washing machine, and tumble dryer.

The life in Provence, especially in summer, is summarized with a life of outside. A terrace with many small corner-terraces, with tables and chairs of which some areas are shaded, HIFI, a table for 10 to have meals, safe from the covered kitchen, a trellised vineyard to read a good book or quite simply to relax.

Garden

In the beautiful garden you will find a fountain, a field of lavender which smells Provence good, a field of pinks, vines and olive-trees. The garden also has lights.

Swimming Pool

The private heated swimming pool of 50 m² with progressive steps out of concrete and progressive bottom is enclosed for your safety (+alarm). Its pool-house has a solar shower, a WC, and shelters, deckchairs and accessories of( matelas, buoys for children, water polo, volleyball, balls, aqua gym...).

A closed private car park is at your disposal. 

To become a truth of Provence and to go on the traces of Pagnol, a track of game of bowls will enable you to initiate yourselves with the sport of the Country.

A gaming room was arranged for the pleasure of children and parents: babyfoot, punch ball, shooting of darts, ping-pong, badminton, basketball, football, beach ball, bicycles, cricket, bowling, games, flipper ... await you.

The golf, tennis, horsemanship, superb excursions, fishing, the air sports (gliding, ULM), all can be done in the vicinity.
 
ST REMY is known for its workshops of art, its museums, its vineyards, its ancient site "Glanum"... you can walk on the traces of VAN GOGH., or perhaps will prefer you to stroll the markets of and to taste there good a tapenade or a caviar of aubergines. In the evening, ST REMY will can enjoy its local festivals or its famous released bulls in the streets of the city, in the arenas which are to 500 m from the villa.

BAUX DE PROVENCE, village is perched on the rocks, with its castle, and its superb cathedral of images built in a cave, are only to 15 km.

In AVIGNON, 20 km, this famous city animated by its festivals and its spectacles, you will admire the City of the Popes, his bridge where "one dances all there in round", its museums...

MARSEILLE,  80 km, is a little further, but is well worth ca visit. The city has a lot of activities, picturesque places and stores and shops. And a trip on a boat in the heart of the Blackcurrant Creeks remains an unforgettable memory.
Other cities like NIMES, AIX IN PROVENCE, ARLES, TARASCON, CAVAILLON... are in a radius of 40 km.
