Charles and Christiane FENNER offer you a warm welcome.  Whatever your nationality, you will be able to converse in your ease, Charles and Christiane usually speak French, English, Italian and German.

Mas  Subarroques is situated in the heart of Provence in a small and picturesque village, in one of the most beautiful areas of France in peaceful surroundings with The Luberon mountain in the background.

Accommodation

Bedrooms:-  2 rooms with mezzanine (6 beds and 2 auxiliary) including one large which has the characteristic to be built in hemp and which profits from excellent comfort.

Bathroom:- A bathroom with bath-tub, basin, WC, wall cupboards, towel bar, all bathroom linen is provided.

A living room:-  with chimney, central heating, a settee which can also act as auxiliary bed (2 places, excellent bed linen, easy unfolding), a television set with international programs, hi-fi systems.

A kitchenette:-  equipped with 2 gases, a refrigerator, a traditional furnace with revolving heat, and linen.

Swimming Pool:-

 Direct access to the swimming pool.

The swimming pool of 12m on 6 and 2m20 of depth, with diving board is heated at a constant temperature of 24 and 26°C. at the end of May until September.

* For information  domestic animals are accepted in the property, namely also the owners have 2 dogs and a cat.

It is possible, during your stay, to have PC access, to enable you to read your emails and browse on the internet

Information

Sensitized with the problems of the environment Charles and Christiane equipped the property with a system of recovery of pumping and, filtering rainwater of worn water. A cistern of 40 000 litres feeds from water the kitchen garden as well as many plantations (trees, flowers, etc). A compost also is carried out in order to enrich the ground for the plantations.

At the Mas Subarroques you will find a whole variety of activities.

To start with the swimming pool, where views of the Luberon are all around you. 

Tennis Court. A table-tennis table is also available. If you wish to initiate yourselves with the most popular play in Provence, a ground game of bowls is there.

Your children or little children will be delighted with the kindergarten equipped with a double swing,  a rocking horse. 

Luberon is also the paradise of the walkers. 

Finally equestrian and cyclotouristic routes were arranged by the regional Natural reserve of Luberon. (information in town hall).

Around the area

With proximity a site of climbing of world fame, the site of Buoux, or coasting flight, the site of Rustrel "Colorado of Provence" with its camaieux of yellow and intense red.

The stalls of the markets of Luberon to the thousand scents and colours will charm you, fruit and vegetables of summer, wines, truffles, honeys of lavender, candied fruits, goat's milk cheeses, lamb etc.

In the summer, the small squares of the villages will make you live at the rate/rhythm festivities and meetings, concerts, festivals, théatre.
