Accommodations: Villa - 5 Bedrooms + Attached Unit - 4 Baths - (Sleeps 10-12) - Only 40 min from Toulon airport.

Situated on the coast we have escaped urban development. A deep blue sky, warm sun and a landscaped garden full of mediterrean  Palm Trees, Olives, Lavender, Rosemary, Peach Orange, Lemon , Honeysuckle and Jasmine surround the house and pool. There is a path which is traffic free and leads down to a sandy beach.

The small village of Canadel is on the sea side of the Corniche des Maures, a  coastal road which stretches from Lavandou to La Croix-Valmer, with magnificent sea views. Only 5 minutes from the house a road leads to the Col and the ridge path, superb for walking, cycling and picnics.

We have designed the house to have little division between house and garden and to have privacy and space for different ages and activities. Outside the bedroom wing is the cactus garden with swings, a tree house, badminton, table tennis and boules play areas. Two bedrooms have french doors which open onto a central terrace with a pepper tree, family dining table and chaise lounges facing the sea.

Gentle steps lead up to the first floor which has the living accommodation and terrace all on one level, making this ideal for the less mobile.

On the ground floor there is a studio which sleeps 3 with independent kitchen, shower and WC. It is available at a supplementary rent for overspill.

The living/dining room wing:-  leads onto a covered terrace with oak table, stone barbecue, summer kitchen and an enclosed pool. Up the steps is our "cocktail terrace" a quiet hideaway with beautiful views of the sea and islands.

Bedrooms:- All bedrooms are screened and have ceiling fans, reading lights and wardrobes. Some beds are 160cms and adjustable. Two ensuite bedrooms,  another has a adjacent bathroom with bath overlooking the Mediterranean   A children's room has 2 bunk and 2 single beds. Another shower room and 3 more WC's.

The Kitchen:- Fully equipped modern kitchen which looks the Mediterranean. An Induction hob, a Pull-out Oven, Fridge, Microwave, Dishwasher, 3 Sinks, plenty of stone worktops, Expresso machine, a Magimix, blender, Fresh orange juicer, Scales, Wine racks, Salad dryer, Cheese nets and Chef's knives. In the hallway linking bedroom and living wings are a Washer, Dryer, a safe and a door to a Clotheslines in the sun.

There is plenty of hot water and heating when needed by an oil fired boiler.

The Garden:-  Beautifully landscaped, and illuminated at night. Inside the gates there is parking spaces for several cars.

The Pool:-  is serviced weekly and is newly tiled with glass mosaic.

Activities (on site or nearby):-  Water sports are abundant. The next beach along has a French National sailing school (from age 6) with Optimists Catamarens, 470's which can be hired. Windsurfing and Water ski facilities and lessons. All local beaches are good for Snorkelling. Rayol and the Islands have Paddi diving courses.

On Canadel beach you will find a Lifeguard, Windsurfers, and Pedalos for hire and Mattresses, Parasols, and a Beach restaurant. Tennis club in next village, and Golf and Horse riding nearby. Bicycle paths along the coast, Hiking on the ridge. Summer concerts in the Jardin Botanique at Rayol, Summer theatre at Gassin, Jazz festivals, Cinema festivals at St Tropez.
