We didn't name it after a famous wine region by accident. This beautiful 200 year old house used to be the lodging of the cellar master of Château Coulon Laurensac, a former wine producing property. Now it welcomes you to have a "grand-cru" holiday.

Médoc (6 to 8 persons, 132 m2):- In the living room with its beautiful exposed beams and honey coloured limestone walls, you will find two sofas grouped around the former fireplace.

The kitchen:- is spacious and fully well-equipped kitchen/dining room (table, 8 chairs) with a cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Apart from a variety of pots and pans, you will find a coffee machine, water cooker, toaster, iron, and vacuum cleaner, in short, everything you might need for a comfortable vacation.

One double bedroom:- on the ground floor and a bathroom with bath/shower, two wash basins and a WC. There is a separate WC in the hallway.

On the first floor:- you'll find the other two bedrooms. One with a double bed (Box-spring: 160*200) and one room with two single beds and a bunk bed. (Baby cot on request).

The house is situated to offer you lots of privacy. The garden of Médoc (almost the size of a football field) has a gazebo and garden furniture.

Furnishing and equipment:- Médoc is completely renovated and redecorated this spring to welcome you with all the modern comfort. In the livingroom you will find a selection of English and French books, a TV, with DVD player and some board games.

A large (6*12m) swimming pool with two roman steps, stunningly set at the south side of the château, offers refreshing moments on sunny summer days. For the safety of children on the site, the pool area is fenced and gated.

The bedrooms of the gîte are non-smoking, and if you'd like to bring your pet please contact us first.

Margaux:- overlooks the park with the château and has its own terrace with garden furniture, parasol and barbeque.

Margaux (2 to 3 persons, 60 m2 ):- The deluxe gîte "Margaux" (named after the nearby famous wine region) with its beautiful exposed beams and exposed stone walls is a contemporary furnished and spacious L-shaped gîte on the ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen and an en suite bedroom. There is a double bed (box spring, 140*210). An extra single bed or baby cot can be placed in the living area on demand. Margaux offers a deluxe bathroom with a bath (Jacuzzi), separate shower, WC and double washbasins.

Margaux overlooks the park with the château and has its own terrace with garden furniture, parasol and barbeque.
