La Fourtaunie is situated in the Dordogne, 8km north of Bergerac, 40km from Périgueux and 110km from Bordeaux.
The property, a pretty stone built home amid woodlands and pasture of 25000 m2 overlooking the valley. Within several miles from here one can choose to play tennis, canoe on the Dordogne river, play golf (25 holes) or go horse riding, if of course you can leave the 10 x 5m swimming-pool.
Nearby are a multitude of historical sites
to visit - the thousand and one châteaux of the Dordogne, the most well known:
LES EYSIES, ROCAMADOUR, DOMME, LAROQUE-CAJAC, BEYNAC, SARLAT, les grottes de
LASCAUX (cave painting) are well worth the visit. You may be tempted to visit
the ATLANTIC coast ARCACHON in 2,5 hours away by car. Every Saturday, BERGERAC
has a marvellous market of fish, fruits and vegetables etc....
Accommodation Looking at photo, your apartment is on the left hand side of
the house with it's own private entrance.
Bedroom:- Looks onto the terrace through french windows. 2 single beds (90 cm) , wardrobes, 1 chest, 1 writing table with drawer , l chair and l arm-chair .
Living – room : Looks onto the terrace. Sofa/bed ( 1 pers.) There is 2 wicker chairs, books, sideboard, mirror, cupboard, table and chairs, television and satellite Tv
Dining room/kitchen .Fully equipped with worktops, drinks bar, gas-oven, fridge, microwave, washing machine, toaster, coffee machine, crockery and utensils, table, bench and chairs. Radio
Bathroom:- with shower, cupboard , lavabo with mirror and little cupboard, bidet , separate wc with lavabo and mirror.
Outdoors and Garden
The garden is set in beautiful surroundings with stunning views of the countryside. There is a swimming pool for our guests use which is situated in the garden.
TARIFFS AND AVAILABILITIES
The lodging is open all the year and the hiring cannot be lower than one week. According to the period of the year, the tariffs are as follows:
May, April and October: 350 € by week
September and
June: 420 € by week 
August and July: 500 € by week
Remaining part of the year:
250 € by week or 500 € per month
The swimming pool is to be shared with the owner.
The hiring is from Saturday at 1600 hours tot Saturday following at 1000 hours.
