
Erquy, Brittany.

Domaine de Lanruen, is situated 5 kilometres from the nearest village, Erquy. Erquy is a large, bustling, seaside village on the coast that boasts a multitude of shops, restaurants and amenities as well as a busy fishing port that is located next to an expanse of beach popular with windsurfers.
Set in unspoilt natural surroundings, directly overlooking golden sandy beaches, the famous blue-green sea and unhindered views of the horizon. At low tide, the multitude of indigenous tiny marine organisms, mussels, green crabs, winkles and some seventy other species of shellfish populate the sand.
The Property is situated at the front of
the Domaine directly overlooking the beach and the extraordinarily unspoilt
views of the sea and horizon. It has a small patio with table and chairs and is
provided privacy from the houses either side by surrounding hedges.

The house is comprised of:- large ground floor room with kitchen, sitting room and dining room and upstairs.
Bedrooms:- 3 double bedrooms (including an attic room ideal for children), a bathroom, with shower / bath and a separate lavatory.
About the area
There are many street markets and flea markets to visit in the towns and villages surrounding Domaine de Lanruen as well as chateaux and churches. There are visiting fun fairs for children as well as the immensely popular pedelo’s at Sable D’Or. Restaurants are plentiful and serve unbeatable Brittany seafood as well as other traditional cuisine. A visit to the Tourist Office in Erquy is recommended for information.
Activities
The beach at Domaine de Lanruen is particularly ideal
for swimmers, snorkelers, windsurfers and body-boarders, as well as for
activities such as rock-climbing, ‘boule’ and volleyball.
In addition, fishing for shrimps and crabs is a very popular pastime for the young ones! There are, of course, a multitude of beautiful walks around the domaine, which provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Bird watching, cycling and painting are extremely popular with locals and tourists alike.
The village of Erquy and other surrounding areas prove popular for those who enjoy sailing, scuba diving, sand-yachting and fishing, hand gliding, go-karting, tennis and riding. (All these activities are suitable for beginners). On the golf course at Sables D'Or golfers can enjoy the tranquillity of majestic trees several hundred years old.
Brittany.
Located in the West of France, Brittany has long been seen as an idyllic, nature-rich, peaceful area that is ideal for anyone eager to get away from the stresses and strains of everyday life.
With a seasonal climate milder than that of the UK, Brittany is a preferred holiday destination for many British people. A short distance from the UK, it is easy to reach by air, or boat (either by car or foot) and is ideal for both weekend visits and longer holidays
