This spacious two bedroomed house is set in the lovely old market town of Villedieu-les-Poeles, approximately 70 miles from the ports  of  Cherbourg or Caen. The house is situated in a quiet street close to the town centre. Day to day shopping is a delight in the many patisseries and charcuteries. As well as  good restaurants there are pleasant cafe bars serving coffee and light meals -  all  within walking distance.

The property has been renovated for the Owner’s use as their ‘ weekend cottage ’.  It is an ideal holiday or weekend base for exploring the surrounding countryside and visiting the many local tourist attractions and fine beaches in the area.

 Le Mont Saint Michel to the south west and the Landing Beaches to the north are both about an hour away, whilst a further half to three quarters of an hour’s run will take you to the  cities of St.Malo, Rennes, Bayeux or Caen.

Accommodation

The house was built in the 19^th century and  is solidly constructed of stone with a slate roof.

Comfortably furnished with a large sitting room downstairs, separate dining room and well fitted modern kitchen.

Upstairs:-  there is a large double bedroom and a smaller twin, bathroom WC.

Garden:-  There is a sunny garden at the rear of the house with garden furniture and b-bq.

Activities in the area

Golf, tennis, riding nearby. Indoor swimming pool in the town.
